Westgate Village Apartments

"Don't let the replies from Premier fool you. They just took over the place and are determine to run all those who live/lived here on housing out. Those of us who've been here for years know how this place is. The management here is very poor and selective towards who they support and judgemental towards those who they don't. Took me 4 months to get new smoke alarms and had to call someone to see they got replaced. Those of us who live on a limited income live/d here due to the utilities being included but now, in order to help move us out, Premier has changed all that. If you have anything valuable, be sure to take it with you or, hide it well. I wasn't pleased to the treatment I received from the last management but at least, she knew how to run things, properly. As an added note: I just found out that, the new owners were going to kick everyone out but, due to a government order, they couldn't because of covid. This is not a great place to live to be honest. Take it from someone who's lived here for 10+ years. There's still things in my apartment that needs to be fixed and as long as, I live here, they never will. UPDATE: This place got sold again."

"Lived here 7 years. More harassment from the manager than anywhere. She's rude and ignorant even though, she puts on a smile. If someone has a complaint about another tenant, she doesn't investigate it, she takes their word for it. She writes you up and puts it in your file whether it's fact or, not. If you live above someone, and they hear you walking around, they complain. The apartments were built back in the early 70s and even though the standards went up, these were grandfathered in. The floorboards are lose and squeak. My tile is busted up and have mentioned it for years now. Took two to three years to fix the roof. They finally fixed it once I told them there was 2 inches of water on my kitchen floor. The apartments have a high turnover rate.That should tell you something. I've come home a few times and found my front door unlocked. I always lock my doors due to all the electronic equipment I have in it. I practically live like a mouse and still get accusations thrown at me. Your lease is for one year, after that, it's month to month. I'm 63 years old and suffer from depression and this place doesn't help. I wanted to rate is with a 0 but, there's not one. No need to mention the last manager before they sold to new owners and they're just as bad for the long term residents. Nothing gets fixed or, remodeled until you move out. Minor things yes but, when people move out, the remodel the apartment and bring it up to standards and everything is new...again. Edit: It's now under new management, again. It's not getting better, it's getting worse."

The best part of the place now is Tabby, who runs it. She still cares about the people. She’ll do anything for them. It needs to be re-insulated. Merry Christmas."

"My mother moved to the Indy area after living in the Westgate Apartments for 17 years. She really didn't want to move because she felt safe, comfortable, and had built a wonderful relationship with apartment management. My mom is 90 years old and is still very independent. She moved to be closer to my wife and I, her granddaughter and her husband, and her great grandchildren. She enjoys being with all of us but she really misses her apartment and the apartment manager."

"Haven't even lived here for more than six months yet and this place has already exceeded my expectations. Management is great, she is very kind and overall awesome. I feel comfortable with expressing any issues or concerns that I have with needing something fixed or looked at, as she is quick to get in touch with and will help me right away. It feels like they really care about us which is pretty relieving. The apartments themselves are also really nice, they have been remodeled and have a nice, modern-look to it. I am so glad I chose this place. I highly recommend it here."
