Soaring Eagle Cabin

"Beautiful outdoor space! Indoors was nice and roomy with a nice downstairs pool table space. We didn't get a chance to try out the hot tub. The cabin's main areas were clean, however the cabin could benefit from a deep clean especially in the screened in porch and the outdoor porch area. The bed was comfortable and obviously it was pure bliss country night silence. New outdoor furniture would be another excellent upgrade. We can't wait to come back and bring our kids. Prepare to wash your car after the gravel road journey."

"Hello GORGEOUS!!! The Views - spectacular, The Cabin - so cute & comfortable, The Atmosphere - peacefull & Quiet!! This was an AHHH-MAZING stay for our family of 5! The cabin had almost everything we needed! We brought extra paper towels, TP, beach towels, kitchen trash bags and drip coffee. But we have 3 daughters & i overpack sooo ... There were plenty of bath towels & games and it was perfectly stocked! The drive into Nashville was only 25 minutes, the drive into Bloomington 20 min, & the drive to the Marina on Lake Monroe was 40 minutes. I wish we had brought paddle boards and kayaks because you're right on the water too!!! The hubby & girls fished a little so bring live bait & your fishing poles for a good catch. The grill was also supplied w/propane & utensils, & there is a fire pit so bring your skewers to roast marshmallows. The wood was wet from rain but we brought kindling & dry firewood so we were good to go. Enjoy ur fresh brewed coffee on the deck watching the sunrise or a cocktail down by the water watching sunset .. Either way it's beautiful &wonderful!! THE ONLY THING that's a catch is: it's a good 4ish mile on gravel road into the area of the cabin AND the drive up & down is steep gravel narrow road. I was intimidated but went slowly cautiously down and with a good faster pace on the way up W/ my mini van. All wheel drive or 4x4 is a good idea for winter for sure! The Moondance staff answered all my phone calls and questions and were so very helpful!! Thank u!!! We can't wait to come back!"

"We had a amazing time here, it's well accommodated, we brought more then we needed. It's beautiful and private, the hot tub, the lake, the pool table, all of it is awesome. The driveway is pretty slick but managed with all wheel drive slipped a bit but just maintain speed or park at the top. This photo is not edited we had a amazing sun rise it was really something to soak in. We brought kayaks, went to the brown county park rode horses. Only thing I wish the hot tub faced differently because the cover blocks the view to the lake. Would love to come back thanks!"

"The website does not state or show that the driveway is for 4-wheel drive vehicles only (as denoted by a sign on top of the winding hill). You can park up top on the MASSIVE hill next to the sign, but then you have to walk down FOUR flights of stairs to get to the cabin. Have fun carrying down your luggage and food on steps that warn you they might be slippery. This location is completely inaccessible for those who are mobility impaired or have health or medical issues, especially heart related ones. Otherwise, the property seemed acceptable for the whole 20 min we stayed before deciding to leave."
