"I am utterly disappointed in this organization!! I scheduled an educational event for tonight with high schools students expecting to see birds and learn about pesticide accumulation in the food chain. Patti called me with LESS THAN AN HOUR until the program to cancel. She knew she was ill all day but did not cancel in time for me to make any substitute arrangements. I understand canceling if you're sick, but you need to do so in a timely manner! She wanted to "wait it out" to see what happened. She then proceeds to tell me we can pick another date, and perhaps do a longer presentation, but it will cost more. We passed up an opportunity to have another organization come for free to do this because we didn't want to cancel on the Raptor Center. Boy do I wish we had gone with the other person now! I was disappointed to know they've been re-submitting the same grant proposal every year for education, but now I'm EXTREMELY disappointed that they're receiving government funding (grants from Brown County SWCD) for education and then behaving so unprofessionally!"

"Organized a bird show for my nephew and some other kids last year. They did a fantastic job of explaining complicated and important conservation issues to little children. They also did a great job of letting the kids get up close and personal to the birds! Would totally recommend."
