"Went for a lecture on the early development of Lake Wallenpaupack. Both a geology and history presentation the speaker, Mr. Roberts discussed the land acquisition and the development of the area to include the building of the damn and pipeline drawing the water away from the lake. If your up for local history, these small historical societies and their venues are great sources of information."
