Reviews
"Wait times for appointments are extreme, wait times at appointments are extreme, never answers the phone, and actual doctor competence is medeocre after all that. If you don't mind waiting weeks for an appointment and multiple hours once you are there, plus a game of phone tag which is guaranteed to interrupt you at the worst time possible every time, all for medeocre and inflexible care, then sure, Lofty might be ok for you. Of note, even the Pediatrics hospital staff expressed sympathy when they learned Lofty was our child's primary."
"Be Prepared anytime you call to WAIT ON HOLD for a long time, the Office staff not so friendly at times. But Dr lofty and Her NP Heidi you will instantly fall in love with! Also Briana the Nurse is so good with my children she does such a fantastic job, we just love her!"
"All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Dr Lotfy as well as her Nurse Practitioner, Heidi Simpson, are both very nice and take the time to explain things until you understand them. They follow up with you and check on you. We love this office and everyone who works here. We highly recommend them."
"Dr. Lotfy is kind, but she does not seem to have a genuine concern for her patients at all. She seems to know her stuff, but because she is so brief and barely pays attention, its easy for her to misdiagnose or wave off warning symptoms within a child. I’ve been bringing my 9 month old daughter to Dr Lotfy since birth. I’ve never cared for her much, but my daughter was never sick so I’d just take her to the visits, and get it over with. At 5 weeks old, I asked her opinion on my daughter traveling by air. She didn’t ask where we were going. In fact, she cut me off and said “yes, that’s completely fine.” & while I was a bit naive then, I now know that that was completely absurd & quite a health risk, as she hadn’t even had her first round of immunizations. That was my first sign of Lotfy’s disregard for patients. I also noticed that Lotfy’s office is the first medical office I’ve encountered that doesn’t call to confirm or remind parents of appointments. If you don’t show, it’s not sweat off their backs. My final straw was when I rushed my daughter to the ER for a 104 temperature, irritability, & uncontrollable slobbing. I called Dr. Lotfy’s nurse line, was told the dr would call me back, and Dr. Lotfy never followed through. I imagine her sleep was more important than her patient’s wellbeing. The feel of the office is very clean, presentable, & kid-friendly. That is much to be appreciated. Her office staff is kind for the most part. There’s a petite, blonde woman that’s usually always at the check-in window who is very nice. However, there is a freckle faced brunette/reddish haired girl that seems devastated to be at work everyday. Her nurse practitioner is absolutely amazing. I prefer her to Dr. Lotfy, ten times over. While everything about Lotfy’s office seemed great at first, it didn’t take long for me to see that everything isn’t always what meets the eye. Lotfy isn’t the worst, but she certainly isn’t the best."
