"This place should have 0 stars. My one month old is seeing some new Dr Suel his first appointment went well but I was iffy about this place from the reviews. They didn’t lie you can’t get in touch with anyone here. My one month old has a really bad cough and congested I called to ask for recommendations they transferred me to a 24 hour nurse hotline who knows nothing about my child or his background who then transferred me to another hotline I ended up hanging up . It’s ridiculous that you can’t get in touch with your child actual pediatrician even if he his in clinic seeing patients he should have an assigned nurse to answer all calls or messages from his patients. When you take your child to the emergency room the first thing they ask is have you contacted the pediatrician I have twins who go to UT High Risk Pediatric Clinic downtown and I’m always able to get in touch with their pediatrician if she’s in clinic she have a nurse inform her of what’s going on and contact you. To not be able to get in touch with anyone from this office is insane why are you my child’s pediatrician if I can’t even ask you a basic question or medical recommendations I have to wait until the next appointment like it’s a joke. PLEASE DO BETTER!"

"I brought all three of my kids here for years and years. But we changed pediatricians because tcp NEVER EVER has same day appointments. My sons finger was infected and I took him in as a walk in. Literally listened to the receptionist sign in the kid in front of us as a walk in and give him a wait time, then turned my son away with his swollen finger and all. They have NO compassion. On another occasion I scheduled my children's wellness visits in advance. Took them out of school early, arrived on time, got pulled into a room and them a nurse came in and said my kids were not due for a wellness so if they were not sick we could go. No apologies for not noticing sooner and us wasting our time going there. When I took my oldest in for wellness we did not have any concerns but Dr.Ludhi started saying she was going to refer my daughter to a nutritionist. So I shrugged it off because my daughter is not that over weight or experiencing any health issues. The following time we went in for a sick visit and Dr.Ludhi started in with the nutritionist referral thing again. It was bad enough it made my daughter feel bad about herself. That was the last straw. Her new pediatrician discusses healthy eating and exercise with us but does not try to force us to a specialist when its not needed and certainly is more tactful with their approach than Dr.Ludhi. These experiences were disappointing to say the least. Would not recommend."

"Can NEVER get an appointment especially for a sick visit. Even when trying to schedule a well visit it’s booked out 3 months at least. He has not even got to see his primary doctor in forever. At his one year check up we saw a nurse practitioner that has never seen him before and barely took any time on him. When calling to schedule any appointment, the front desk must have their phones turned down because every single time i call , I swear I can’t hear them on the other end. It’s ridiculous."

"I love our doctor when we can see her. I've lost count of how many appointments she has had to cancel. The admin at this office treat patients and their families as inconveniences that they are forced to deal with. The hold times to make an appointment are always long, 20+ minutes. I use MyChart to schedule appointments but even sick appointments are not available until several days later, which is usually not feasible. I have been with TX Childrens pediatrics at 2 locations for 19 years, I will be looking for a new pediatrician now."

"Awesome place and always very friendly and courteous, dr salmeron has been taking care of my 5 kids for the last 10 years and she is always patient with the kids and with us as well always explaining everything thats is going to happen, the after hours call in service is very good as well it really shows they really care. Thank you!!"
