"My experience with a man named Nick from Lancia was met with rudeness. I inquired about their workers playing loud music that you can hear in our homes and he couldn't' have cared less. In fact he more or less questioned if I actually heard music since he said he didn't hear anything when he had been by. So I hear things or I'm a liar."
"My house is falling apart in the second year of living here. Windows are peelings, sink doesn’t look connected to counter, backsplash is not connected to wall and bounces, paint is peeling everywhere, water heater is awful. Hell the carpet is not even fully connected in some places, the heat distribution is terrible as it can be extremely warm on the main floor and then freezing cold upstairs. If I could give zero stars to this horrific business I would. Literally no one in my family likes this house as it has just been problems and problems since day 1. So do yourself a favor and not buy one of the horrendous houses made by lancia."
"I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Had them build my house in 2016. Apparently since then, the toilet's wax ring upstairs hasn't been installed properly, so it was leaking. Recently it finally showed signs and we found a puddle of water on our kitchen counter after we came home from an appointment. Immediately got someone out here, he pointed out the wax ring needed replaced and pointed out the mold, so I had to spend the whole week ripping up the bathroom floor, cutting out mold, framing around the hole and putting it back all together, in a 7 year old home. Unacceptable. Toilet's been used maybe 25 times. If we ever complained about anything when Lancia first built the house, they'd blame the contractors. I didn't hire the contractors, you did, take some damn responsibility for your work. I'd never buy a Lancia home again and I sure as hell wouldn't recommend it to others."
"I do not recommend having a house built with lancia. The issues started with the realtor, Anne Thomas, who after doing basically nothing for us still received her commission (even though we requested she be removed from our sale but lancia refused). Anne Thomas never kept us informed. We always had to REPEATEDLY reach out to her. Finally, we are at the signing to start the build. Turns out Anne lied about the cost of the lot (we still don't know if she lied, didn't know the correct info, or lancia was just trying to get more money. All those things unacceptable). The lot was too much and we had to back out, AT THE SIGNING! The lot was $30,000 more than she promised us. How does that happen! It was heartbreaking. We ended up with a new lot elsewhere. I'm not going to mention all the problems throughout the build. I do have to mention how unpleasant Bob Thomas is though. He gave us our "new home orientation". He told us to walk around and tell him everything we would like fixed. It was comical how everything we said was such an annoyance to him. I could go on for days about the nightmare that lancia is, but I won't. I just want to say after they get their check they are done with you. If you have any problems they don't care. It's like pulling teeth to get them to respond."
"If you are seriously considering using Lancia, I would look elsewhere. From signing a contract, to picking out your finishes, and the rest of the whole process, you are merely a number. First off, Gerry, the one used to pick out interior finishes, does not try and help you with suggestions or anything. second, we picked out a built in for the laundry room, show her a picture, she adds it to the build list, and when we walk into the house, it is some cheap particle board organizer hanging on the wall. We ask the site PM, and he says that is what we ordered. we say no no no, and show him a picture, well come to find out, she priced us the wrong thing, and of course would not take ownership of it. The Site PM did make it right with us, so I have nothing but good things to say about Justin. As far as their warranty work and subcontractors, it is a joke. We had our 1 year walk through canceled 3 or 4 times due to them not having anyone to come out and they still never fixed anything from that. Never got our 2 year walk through either. Then if you call saying something is wrong, they just make excuses on why it is that way. Other people in our addition have complained that their warranty work is non-existent too. Honestly, the quality of the house is not that great either. The Plumbing subcontractor, didnt tighten the line on the water heater, and water leaked slowly for months, and rusted the outside of the tank. Plumber came and tightened it and said they wont replace it, even though it was 100% their fault. so now we have a rusted water heater tank that is an eyesore. Told Lancia about it and they did nothing about it either. The one good thing with Lancia was their PM or site contractor (not sure what they call them) named Justin. He was always extremely helpful, friendly and addressed concerns. Other than him, our experience with any of the Lancia team was bad to awful. We plan to build again in the future, and there is absolutely no way I would use Lancia nor would i recommend Lancia to anyone. Mediocre quality, warranty coverage is awful, and their team is subpar. The only warranty work coverage we had was our 6 month walk through. Canceled all the other walk throughs numerous times and wont return phone calls. Please look elsewhere. I wish I could give zero stars."
