"It was a beautiful weather day. After of our members decided to drive our horses there."
"Nice park and good place to go for a hike. Don't forget to go to the 1910 farm and say hi to the pigs. They're quite talkative. But watch out for ticks if you go out in the very back my son's friend picked up 4."
"We have enjoyed a few workshops at the homestead. The grounds are beautiful and managed well by the Lake County parks program."
"What a great park. It is the location of a handful of festivals and events throughout the year. The highlight being the Sleepy Hollow production, which is well worth standing in line for a couple hours to get tickets. Check out the website to find out the day they go on sale. If you don't get tickets that day, you probably won't. On non festival days, you can walk and explore the farm. On the backside of the park is a trail among the surrounding fields."
"First time visiting the Buckley Homestead. We enjoyed it so much! The property is very charming. The animals were all well taken care of and loving. The trails and old buildings around the property add to the charm. Dec 2020"
