Reviews of Trinity Lutheran Church
"Have had the opportunity to worship at Trinity several times in the last few years. My sister and her family are all members. I found the services very biblically sound and interesting. The pastor and his entire family warm and welcoming to my family. I would recommend this parish to anyone looking for a wonderful church family."
"This is in response to the review by my cousin Adam Cummins. First of all... Our Church preaches the law and gospel of Christ. Period. We are NOT a feel good church, we come to hear GOD's word. We do not conform to all of the "current ideas" of this world. So no we are not a progressive church and never will be. Your mother and I have been cousins and friends for 62 years and have gone to this church together for over 40 years. your mother was very active in our church and I worked side by side with her in the Ladies Aid. We did NOT spit in her face as you put it. Yes we are not set up for handicap people in the Church Basement. There is nothing that I can do about that. But We did serve a funeral dinner for 104 people with 28 families preparing the food that 13 women served you, family and her friends. We didn't say that her brother had to eat by himself in the Parrish hall and WE set up tables for him and anyone else that wanted to eat with him. (we DID NOT scold you for bringing food over to him) We tried to explained that we are not able to cook and serve a funeral luncheon in that room and that food would have to be carried over for him. (It only holds 60 at most) Plus we didn't say that you couldn't provide any other food (other food which was donated was put out) but I did say that I saw no reason why you would have to bring a subway sandwich for him to eat as we had more than enough food (the leftovers which you took home) As far as her crosses, Pastor was not able to take them (and why were they even offered to him?), but the Ladies Aid gladly did take them. Her Sister and your Aunt thought everything was fine and not a slap in her face and even her brother thought it went well. I might not have any control over how a service is done or whether ashes can be spread or not. But DO NOT diss the Ladies Aid! WE will bend over backward to try to accommodate any wishes. This church is MY Family too and I will not allow you to discredit us!"
"This is a wonderful church from not only our pastor but also to all of the other church patrons. The congressional is a blend of all ages and extremely welcoming to all children no matter what age and or stage they are going through. This is a wonderful church if you are looking for a traditional Lutheran church with a very welcoming and pleasant environment."
"A very compassionate church of people who always make us feel welcome. A Pastor that is excellent at bringing and sharing with us the gospel of Christ."
"This is a beautiful church inside and out with an amazing pastor and congregation with whom you are always made to feel welcomed. We are a growing congregation with a lot of young families and have been blessed to welcome numerous children into Holy Baptism. Pastor loves to teach through his sermons as well as through bible study. We serve the community with our preschool, Sunday School and food pantry. All are welcome to come hear the Word of the the Lord."
