"Rented a tractor with exiting issue. Due to the weekend Tri County was unable to come out and fix the issue, which is fine however what takes place after is the problem. The front right tire of the tractor had a hole resulting in the tube pushing its way through and causing a leak inflicting a flat. The tube itself had previously been patched three other times which is fine *I get it, a tube can be patched several times* if the tractor had been properly inspected prior to re leasing out to a paying customer and the hole on the tire had been fixed as well, I can’t see how making (one pass around a field) would cause the flat without there being an existing issue) Since Tri County couldn’t make it out and we only had the tractor for two days, we paid 170 dollars for a service crew in the area to come out and fix the tire. On paper we have proof showing what the malfunction was resulting in the tire going flat proving it was an existing issue. Upon driving back down to the property at 5am that Monday morning, because Tri County also stated they would be by Monday morning by 0800 to pick it up. We made a phone call stating we were there and they could come at anytime. The words coming out of their mouth was *well that’s not going to happen, we won’t be there till 2 or 3 in the afternoon* so instead of giving us a honest legit time frame the day we rented they stated a unrealistic time which resulted in ya coming down super early. So once they came and picked the tractor up we made our way to the office to get our deposit back for fuel. We asked very nicely if we could be compensated a little for the repair due to over 3 hours lost time and the 170 dollar charge that they don’t ever have to worry about for awhile because they have a fixed tire. All we got was a very rude response regardless of what this gentleman at the front desk portrayed himself as, but it was the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. It wasn’t like we were trying to get it all for free, hell 50 dollars would have been fine, or just a respectful way of saying hey I can’t do this at this time however I will have the owner contact you, but his reaction and tone of voice towards us was un-called for especially considering what he doesn’t realize is, we would have continued to use them for a lot of other projects we have in mind... after his disrespectfulness towards us, We refuse to ever use Tri County again. I also called asking if they do a full on inspection on all their equipment prior to re leasing out, and I went into detail as to what they inspect, this included asking whether they inspect the tires through and out. The guys answer was yes, than I stated who I was and after that he hung up, so I called back and the guy that was rude to us at the desk answered. Again I’m just appalled by the lack of customer service and I hope no one else has to have the same poor experience!!! We will take our business else where. The word of mouth is very powerful in a business world. Oh, and to get things straight, I’m writing this review for 2 other people that were there at the scene, 3 if you want to count the certified mechanic that came out from the other company, So I’m basing my experience off of three other peoples mindset on what happened. It is my experience too because we all invested in this together! *i was there Monday* It doesn’t matter because the tire issue to me isn’t the problem! The customer service is the problem. I’m just holding my end of the deal to the service manager that I would write reviews. Last thing I want to be doing. Upon writing this review *on facebook* the comments back from Tri County regarding this, have some what been the comments that a young un-educated immature boy would make. *Such as, come in here and say it to our faces* Or be a man and come in here*. Again all that made me realize was the kind of people that I’m dealing with. It is completely okay, because at this point I’ll be glad to take business elsewhere. (In the end this is my opinion!)"
