"The park is making improvements on the disc golf course. It is really coming together nicely with shaping the holes by bushhogging the grounds. I would like to let anyone reading this to know to proceed around the park with an ABUNDANCE of caution as the majority of dogs are off leash and park visitors may even drive out onto the course from one lot to the next. A blue SUV came through the park today as other dog walkers were present going from the lot off of hwy 13 along the water out to the lot off of hwy 44. Another black SUV almost stuck my dog and I this afternoon around the lot off of 44. This is even after making eye contact and greeting me earlier in the visit. Please just be cautious and mindful of others."
"This is a great course with massive potential. It has some fun elevation changes without being too exhausting to walk. There is nothing extremely technical shot wise (i.e. no flex shots), a solid backhand and forehand is all you need. The entrance off CR13 is unmarked, but easy to find if you use this pushpin. Permanent tee pads would be a great addition to this course. I feel like the biggest threat to the potential future of this course is going to be dependent on how busy it becomes with the non-golfers now that the trees have been cleared out (i.e. people casually walking their dogs or neighborhood children on bikes). Official signage addressing the hazard of active golf fairways would go a long way in preventing future incidents."
"great place to play, course is fun and challenging"
"This course is fun, but 3 stars as it stands today 5/23/23 SOLELY because it’s so young, only 9 holes completed to date and tighter than your Mommy’s Guess Jeans when she was button-flying all over campus. I’ll add, this is going to be a BEAUTIFUL track once it’s finished and I can’t wait for that day to arrive. I did lose a disk because it’s in desperate need of a major buzz cut (that and the fact I suck didn’t help much either)! But, it’s too good of a course to wait until winter, so wear some long pants, bring your fluorescent discs and hope you’re lucky enough to play it right after it gets bush-hogged."
