"Went solo for brunch was seated immediately!! Service wasn’t fast but also wasn’t slow. The creole omelette was amazing! Top 5 best omelettes I’ve ever had. Wish it was apart of the permanent menu!!"

"We dined on a rainy Saturday afternoon, party of two. We arrived separately and my other party member was not allowed to be seated until I arrived, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. Our orders were taken quickly and the food was prepared quickly. I ordered the spinach omlette and hashbrowns. It was nothing to rave about, just an egg topped with spinach, mushrooms and a sundried tomato puree. The puree did not look appetizing due to the color and consistency so I did not eat it. My other party member enjoyed the crab cake. I guess one shouldn't have high expectations for vegetables and eggs but I would've appreciated a bit of flavor with some herbs and seasoning. I will return, but I will order differently."

"My friend and I visited Batters and Berries around 10:15 AM on a Sunday and there was no wait. My friend ordered a side of pancakes and found them delightful. I opted for The Traditional breakfast, which includes two eggs, a choice of meat, and cheese-crusted hash browns. I went with the chicken sausage and swapped the cheese-crusted hash browns for their sweet potato version. The chicken sausage and eggs were well-seasoned and delicious, while the sweet potato hash browns leaned towards the saltier side and didn't quite meet my taste expectations. I also tried the French Toast Flight, featuring a sampler of strawberry, blueberry, lemon, and caramel French toasts. The standout was the Lemon French Toast; its delightful flavor made syrup unnecessary. The Strawberry French Toast was good due to the strawberry topping, but the French toast itself lacked a distinctive flavor. The Carmel French toast was a nice treat, though it leaned a bit too sweet for my preference. Unfortunately, the Blueberry French toast failed to leave a memorable impression. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I’m looking forward to trying their lunch offerings on my next visit."
