"I finally stopped in this tiny grocery store after passing it for years on my way to somewhere else and wondering what kind of place it was. It packs a powerful inventory with competitive prices. It’s a throwback to the days when grocery stores were family owned and the owner knew, and cared about every customer. This would be my every day store if I lived closer. Thank you for staying true to the old-fashioned values. Note: After reading the only 2 negative reviews, I felt compelled to add that I found the owner’s son to be rude too—at first. But after engaging him in conversation, he was very friendly and informative about the store. Next time you’re in, try asking him enthusiastic questions until he loosens up. You never know what might be going on in other people’s heads/lives that makes them defensive."

"I went back in March and absolutely loved the service, the meat and the prices!! It was the 2nd time I'd been there and was so impressed that for as long as it's possible, I will be a regular! I bought ground beef, smoked pork chops,cube steak and lunch meat (old fashioned loaf) and every bit was delicious! Mike, hope your feeling better...I'm spreading the word.
