"Worst curbside pick up of any store! Waited for over 15 minutes while trying to contact someone to let them know we were outside to pick up groceries. We were the only vehicle in the curbside pickup section. Number on sign kept staying busy. Service doors are locked and no buzzer. Tried calling customer service three times. Finally thought we were making progress when we managed to reach someone by calling Meijer number for Anderson store and woman on other end said she was located in another state. It was hilarious. Meijer has a long way to go on curbside pickup if they plan on keeping up with their competitors."

"I have a love/hate relationship with Meijer. They are my first thought for most grocery and toiletry needs. They have most of what I want or need most of the time. They are also generally competitive on price for the items I buy in the grocery. This allows me to avoid the local Wal-Mart, almost all the time. That alone earns it 4 stars. However, it is really frustrating that they don't carry more of what I consider to be common or trendy world foods. And I am REALLY disappointed in their recent move regarding self-checkout. They always had self-checkout. Roughly 4 that were 5 item or less, and 6 that I think we're 20 or 25 items or less. They kept the 4 that are 5 item or less, although I never see more than 2 working at a time. And they now have 18 other self-checkout with no limit, and one poor soul trying to assist all these machines that keep throwing errors about extra items in-cart that is usually a child, or purse, not unpaid merchandise."

"Always nice and friendly staff. Sad to see this listed these days as a grocery store, knowing at one point they rivaled Walmart as a one stop shop. They really need to go back to this strategy that worked far better in their favor, and all the ways they are set apart. Their hot and fresh food court found in each Meijer store was absolutely delicious. Their toys and electronics department literally forced Walmart to build a larger store ... Come back to life!"

"This Meijer in Anderson on Scatterfield Rd was so much bigger than the ones I visit in Indpls. They had a larger selection in women's clothing. I found so many options at this location."

"This is my favorite standard grocery store. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. I absolutely love the bakery too! It's so hard not to buy one of their cakes every time I'm in there."
