"The Ray family is the nicest group of people I’ve ever met in my life. They take excellent care of their employees and customers!!!"
"this company will force you to do loads, as a (IC) they will have you deadhead unpaid miles to cover their customer loads. carrier Run you like a company driver, once you quit they will take your last check. carrier will charge you a maintenance acct fee 6% of Revenue of Gross if carrier don't feel you will run like they want you too, and feel that your not a fit will terminate-your-lease-agreement BE AWARE!! BE ALERT! owner very money hungry. Their dispatcher-Jarrod blue will verbally abuse you and force you to take loads that don't make sense, that results in you being in a hole and making no profit as a contracted company. beware of this scam very deceitful company, misleading information. and if you get a violation they will report wrongful information to your driving record, safety coordinator, Emilee Goodwin. when you arrive for orientation, they will tell you will get a newer truck once the day of contract signing. owner - Danny ray will instruct safety coordinator - Emilee Goodwin, to assign you a truck that's not reliable (out of warranty ) truck has a major mechanical issues that owner will not fix BE careful very deceitful fraudulent business STAY AWAY !"

"Yes you can go drive for them if you wanna be a company driver with a truck payment . Thry want you to do what they say when they say .. Nd if you don’t they get very irate .. They claim before you come you are considered a independent contractor but as soon as you don’t want to run a load for instance from Bessemer Al to Shelbyville Tn that only pays 350 to the driver and you will probably dead head 200 miles to pick it up then 300 miles loaded thru a backroad with curves and turns eating up your fuel they with come out the bag on you .. Especially Zeb he loves those Milos Tea loads that don’t have Verrrrrrryyy low rates .. Reetus hates to see a driver go home to his family I don’t care how far ahead of time you put in the home time when it comes times to go home he blows up .. Owners son Justin Ray acts like he’s your friend until you tell him no and he nuts up like a little kid and gets veeerrrryyy petty and starts getting you every chance he gets .. I never had a run in with the owner Danny Ray but I’ve heard stories"
"Let me start out by saying that I worked with this company from 6/2016 until a few days ago. We operated for them as a west coast team. Team operating was a newer prospect for this company (or so I was told). I was asked to understand there may be bumps in the road which I was more than happy to work with them on. Everything started out OK. We were paid on the west coast turn meaning that when we made the final delivery back in Alabama or ga we were paid for all loads owed. After expenses we were netting about 3400-3800 dollars which is not bad for a lease deal in today's market. Then it all started changing then turned it into your standard 7 day payroll cycle and you could never make a west coast turn in 7 days due to poor planning by the dispatch office. Then they changed the payroll cutoff day mid week 3 different times. No where in my operating agreement or lease was force dispatch, do not get me wrong I only ever turned down 2 loads. One of those loads was very early on in my experience with them and it was due to hos laws. The 2nd was due to the fact that I'd been fighting to get to California for 8 or 9 days so I could make a turn and get a good check and Alabama to Rhode island is not California. I had to constantly stay on the dispatcher to get rates on my loads even then they refused to provide me with the rate con sheets from the brokers. When I refused that load to Rhode island I was told I was coming in there and I was taking my blankety blank @$$ to Rhode island. I was then called by the owners son and repeatedly told I was an arrogant smart @$$ when I told him that force dispatch is not in my contract I am not accepting the load and there's no discussion that needs to be had about it (yes Justin this is on recording). I was then called by the mastermind behind this whole operation Danny Ray I was told that I could bring my truck in and clean it out if I wasn't going to Rhode island. I obliged. Danny Ray also tacked up a repair bill by 10℅ (I have invoices to prove this) and told me he should be compensated for taking my money from my maintenance account and paying my repair bill that was never agreed upon in my contract. He also is holding 2 settlements my maintenance account and 4000 dollar truck/trailer deposit. It states in my contract he may hold my maintenance account and my final settlement for 45 days. So why does he have 1 settlement and 4000 dollars in deposits he is not returning. My advice is avoid dealing with this company. Thank you for taking time to read this. My name is Daniel Jenks and my old priority unit number was 606."
