Then the Dispatch wants to drive 70 miles more to pick up a load . That happens frequently almost all week. . DRIVES HAS TO PAY FOR THE FUEL WHEN YOU DRIVE EMPTY In a month working as owner I never had a paycheck of more than $1000"

"Title: Poor Communication and Unfair Management I worked for R.E.Garrison Trucking and unfortunately had a highly unsatisfactory experience. The primary issue revolved around communication – it was nearly impossible to reach anyone. My fleet manager consistently forwarded calls to voicemail, leaving me in the dark about my schedule until an hour before I had to be somewhere. I was assigned a local route in Live Oak, FL, but the schedule was anything but consistent. The team lead, just another driver, had the authority to dictate our overtime hours, favoring himself with as many hours as he liked. Meanwhile, he sometimes only pulled one load a day or even less, yet drivers faced consequences for not pulling 2 or 3 loads. The fleet manager's approach was unfair and unjust. Shockingly, I was fired from the company simply for requesting to leave on time once. No warnings, counseling statements, or discussions – a highly disproportionate response. For anyone serious about trucking, I strongly advise against considering R.E.Garrison Trucking. The lack of communication and unfair management make it an undesirable choice for those seeking a reliable and fair work environment. Avoid at all costs."

"Worked 1 week as lease operator. I thought it was going to be a great career. Really like orientation and the ppl. But it turns out just like most companies, what they tell you in orientation is just them blowing smoke(all lies).I had the driver manager named Sean and he was not very good at making the truck money. Tried to get that changed and couldn’t even get 1 of the boss’s to speak to me. I told them I was turning in my truck and they were like, bye!"
