"Scam job. Not sure what their actual service is like, and I don't doubt that that other super negative review is just some competitor trying to make them look bad, but after attending an info session and getting some followup emails it became clear that this is a complete scam if you want to be an independent contractor for them. First of all they don't reimburse for gas, which is crazy for a driving job. This alone wouldn't have been enough to make me raise a stink and write this review, because as much as it absolutely sucks (and was already a deal breaker), it isn't unheard of, unfortunately. The REAL red flag was one of their followup emails that mentioned having to pay THEM $110 to fund the background check and drug test. Literally not how that works. Not how it has ever worked. That's completely insane. You're the employer, YOU pay for that. Update, since they replied: Splitting hairs about the difference between regular employment vs independent contract work doesn't make stuff like not paying for gas or expecting people to pay over $100 to go through your sign up process any less bad."
