"I have all good things to say about this hotel. When I tell you that the staff there is excellent and attentive, you will never find another staff better than this one. My room was 416! Cleaning was as on point! Anytime, I asked for extra anything such as towels, directions, recommendations for restaurants just overall help, the staff assisted with my needs!! This particular hotel will always have my business. I stayed there approximately 10-12 weeks and never had any problems nor complaints."

"On Saturday February 3, 2024 I had a memorial service for my late son Ken. I called the hotel and was connected to Tammi Kowalik. Ms. Tammi was unbelievable- was very professional, helpful and courteous. In addition to Tammi, front desk clerks Jenna and Kendall were amazing. They made sure my family had everything we needed. The meeting room was clean, fresh and ready when we arrived. This team made a very stressful time manageable. Thanks so much"

"This place is taught to still live in a racist system! I am a black man. I stayed at this hotel on December 7, 2023. The rooms are decent but definitely overpriced. But the reason I’m posting this review is to expose this company for what it is. I’ve been traveling all over the world And decided to stop in this area for A night. In the morning I come down to get some coffee and I’m bombarded by the staff Telling me that this hotel is for guest only! What’s your room number sir? Meanwhile there’s white men coming in and out with no problem. What is your reasoning for asking me? What is my room number and why are you making me prove that I’m an actual guess here? Did you seriously just ask me this? I’m not dress like aWhat is your reasoning for asking me? What is my room number and why are you making me prove that I’m a actual guess here? Did you seriously just ask me this? I’m not dress like a bum off the streets. I’m a regular guy and I don’t need to steal a cup of coffee from a low level hotel. I emailed the general manager, but based off of the other reviews will probably not get done in the situation. This post is to warn you people that the Holiday Inn in Lansing Illinois represents complete trash. I love all white black Mexican, Indian Chinese, and so on. I’m too old to argue and way too mature to give into nonsense like this. I am an extremely successful Blackman. Growing up as a black man and dealing with racism, and everything that comes along with that while trying to succeed is a gigantic hurdle in itself. We are in 2023 and white men gets so much more respect based off of the skin color still They are not judged. Do not stay at this hotel!"

"I looked at my bank statement and found out I was double charged. When I called and talked to a gentleman named Kendal right in the middle of my conversation he asked to put me on hold. I was on hold for over 7 min so I hung up and called back just to be put on hold again. He didn't even answer. So I asked my husband to call on his phone and the gentleman answered. My husband let the guy know what happened with us being over charged and he asked him to call back at 8 a.m. and talk to the general manager Diane. My husband asked his name and thank him and hung up. Mind you im still holding. I hung up since we were able to get the information of his general manager. I called back 4 days later and started to tell Diane the general manager what had happen and she said because I checked in already for the 2 days I couldn't have my money back. I explained to her I let the gentleman know ( Kendall) that I reserved sat the 30th and then reserved the 29th and asked Kendall if I could stay in the same room for both days so I didnt have to re check and switch rooms. He looked it up and said I extended your room so you should be good. But in actuality I got charged for the 2 nights on the 29th and got charged for the 30th. But as I was talking she kept cutting me off and then said she will talk to the owner. But could guarantee she won't give me my money back. Wow if this is what they do to every one. They are making a killing. To bad the general manager Diane is making it look like its a pretty shady hotel. Im sure the owner has no idea. If you have booked a room from here you may want to check and make sure they arent double charging you."

"We have family in town here and for years have been trying to find a nice hotel to stay at when we visit. All we’re ok. But wasn’t able to get comfortable. This hotel has been wonderful for us and our family! We feel safe here with our children. The pool is nice, and WARM! The breakfast is good, workers are sweet and helpful. And the beds/bedding are probably some of the comfiest we’ve stayed in. We will continue to stay here for family gatherings! Thanks Holiday Inn!"
