"A recliner ordered on November 21st to be delivered in 4-6 weeks. All in writing from the store is just now being started. This is week 14 and no one knows why there is a delay. We have called 4 times. The first call we were told we would have it the beginning of January. We called the beginning of January again they said they were just starting to make it and were told we would have it by the beginning of February. We called again the beginning of February and we were told we would have it by the middle of February, the 16th. Again no call from the store that our chair had arrived. It is now February 21st, we went to the store and now told us they again were just starting our chair and that we should expect it sometime the first week of March. The store claims to have no way to contact the factory to find why the delays. The customer service department for Lazyboy said they don’t handle issues the stores handle it and hung up on us while we were asking another question. I gave this a one star only to be able to leave this review. Lazyboy is not a company I would recommend and especially the Merrillville store if you are looking for good service."

"The salesman, however new he was, was extremely courteous and friendly. If he did not know something, he asked the Manager. The sale took a little extra time to complete, but end of sale will come quicker as he becomes more confident and learns the system. He was very likable did a good job."
