"I have a window that shows water stains on the frame and along the window sill areas with paint peeling on the outside, so I reached out to Elite View in hopes of getting a quote from someone who might be able to tell me what it would take to repair and or replace either the wood areas and or the entire window if necessary (or propose other ideas if something non-window related is happening). Basically, and to keep things as simple as possible, I just needed a quote from someone to determine how to proceed in remediating any possible problems I'm seeing with the window and just make things better). Fast-forward to the week and the morning-of that we're supposed to meet (after arranging time off from work to accommodate *his* schedule) and I get a call from him 30 minutes before our meeting time asking me questions about the situation over the phone only for him to eventually admit that he just didn't want to come out, and that if he did, it'd be to quote an entire replacement window. This was all something he could've done before everything was arranged for him to come out, but given he didn't even look at anything and that everything he was told over the phone came from someone who has no experience in home construction whose home has had roof work done in the past, it's impossible to say whether an entire window is needed or if something else should or could be done if the things I see might be attributed to past leaks before the roof work was completed. He also quoted me more than $500 for a replacement vinyl window."
