Tony's Phillysteaks & Sharks Fish & Chicken

"December 29, 2023 This place do not value their customers & I really give them 0 stars but had to rate in order to post. The place wasn't the cleanest, the service suck and customers were complaining about pick up orders when I arrived. They cheat you on meat portions on "Italian beefs" and don't fix food as you have ordered it. I waited 30 minutes for a beef and fries ($14.89) just to hand it right back, then another 20 minutes to get a refund. The manager was very rude. Today is January 5, 2024 and this manager did not issue a refund back to my debit card. The manager was slick because he put the debit charge through under a different location. I went to the Tony's at 344 E 95th St, Chicago, but the charge on my statement came from 8153 S Cottage Grove Ave, Chicago. I have never been to that location. I will never go to another Tony's Philly Steak & have warned people I know. I ignored the "RED FLAG"-customer complaining. If you decide to go there, BEWARE OF THE FOOD & THEIR DECEPTION!"

"First & foremost Tony nor his Wife can't cook fried chicken!! (She) has a very unprofessional attitude towards you telling her how you would like your food cooked! When you're spending your money there! The only REAL reason PEOPLE buy the 5-piece leg & thigh, or the 15 piece is because of the price! Another thumbs down is that the chicken is being fried in Sunflower Oil which also makes it have a weird aftertaste that honestly BLACK PEOPLE are not use to eating their fried chicken this way! Being Cocky, or Arrogant is not "PROFESSIONAL OR COOL" ESPECIALLY when YOU do not have the SKILLS to back it UP! PLEASE.... DO BETTER TONY & WIFE!"

"I ordered gizzards they were super chewy and salty not one of there best dishes but I will go back and try something else it was pretty busy people coming and going maybe I'll go back and try one of their rice bowls took some pictures of the items that they had on the counter to show you what they serve"

"Husband and I stopped in for a bite to eat but it was so much to choose from I ordered a shrimp and chicken rice bowl and must say the flavors are good and the portion size alone can feed my whole family. I enjoyed this so much . If you looking for great deals this is the place to be and don't have to worry about small portions cause this place doesn't hold back portion size"

"So today On August 13th I was Lyfting and stopped at Toney” for lunch. The meals in the photograph are to die for and the portions are a lot as well. Seeing the pics, there is no way you cannot stop to grab something to eat. I also like their meal creations such as the melted cheese or chicken wrap. However, these reviews make me feel like I should rethink my review. (Quick story )I recalled a past friend, eating jerk chicken and telling me this was the best jerk chicken ever. After I tasted it, I laughed and said I will take you to Jamaica then perhaps your thinking will be altered. She bluntly looked at me a born Jamaican and said you don't know what you are talking about. Not because you are Jamaican you know what good jerk tastes like. It was like telling a horse you look like a cat but it's a horse. Perhaps it could be I don't know what good food tastes like anymore but this was not good food in my opinion. I gave them a 3.5 star because the food was okay. I ordered the loaded fries and I was thinking I would be loaded after I ate the meal. Because their presentation was so compelling I got disappointed after I started eating. It’s like waiting to go on a roller coaster only to find out it’s really a Cho Cho train. The disappointment was unbearable. Although It was not bad food it was definitely not a great meal either. Please Note they are also pricy which is okay but the price has to complement the taste."
