"A very inviting atmosphere, exceptional team,and fantastic food. This was a phenomenon filet, probably the best I ever had. The scallop was buttery soft with the perfect flavor, perfect mix of textures with the added crunch from the toasted parmesan. To complete the meal, I ordered Crème brûlée, it was smooth, flavorful, and berries on top were a perfect pair. The little details were very thoughtful, little bits of mint on each raspberry really completed the dessert."
"We went there during the Chicago restaurant week. We liked the jumbo shrimp cocktail and the beef tartare. And the sides are good also. But I did not enjoy main course wagyu steak at all. I’m not sure if it’s not been aged well or something, it tasted too much and almost only sourness, lack of wagyu steak aroma also lack of the tenderness. A little bit disappointed to be honest."
"If you’re looking for a date night spot this is the place. We tried their restaurant week menu and it did not disappoint. We selected the following First course: shrimp cocktail, Second: Cesar salad and hand cut beef tartare, third: westholme wagyu sirloin, dessert: chocolate cake. If you do the restaurant week menu i recommend adding a side or two with your main dish. We ordered the truffle tater tots which I would recommend. We even used the truffle sauce on our steak. The drinks were point."
"We visited the restaurant during Restaurant Week on a weekday. We were promptly seated upon arrival, and the service staff was very attentive and courteous. We opted for the Restaurant Week tasting menu with additional appetizers and sides. The first two courses were delightful, the shrimp cocktail was well-prepared, and the beef tartare was delicious. The bone marrow mousse was an interesting and lighter dish, which wasn't what I would expect. However, the main courses were a bit of a letdown. Although the Wagyu steak was cooked to perfection, it lacked the taste, presentation, tenderness, and juiciness that I expected from a high-quality steak. The roasted Brussels sprouts also came out soft and soggy, and the dish wasn't well-composed. By the time the chocolate cake arrived, we were disappointed with the meal. Overall, we had a great start to the meal, but the food quality did not meet our expectations. Despite this, we appreciate the opportunity to try a new restaurant during Restaurant Week, and we hope that the restaurant can improve the quality of its dishes in the future."
"The place is a vibe!! The inside is beautiful with a flame grill so you can watch your tomahawk steak being cooked. The food is divine with delicious herbs and flavors added seasoned to perfection. And may I add the drinks are exquisite and decadent."
