"Dr Robert P Goolsby was my doctor for more than ten years, until I had a hysterectomy. I went in to his office for a pre surgery appointment and told him I was nervous. He patted me on the leg and said, “you will be fine, I do this often with no issues. It’s a standard surgery”. After my surgery he came out to speak to my husband to which he said “she had a lot of bleeding but she is stable now, I need to go get an extra large cup of coffee because I am so tired”. This should’ve been a red flag. When I woke up immediately my left flank was hurting. I complained to the nurse to which I was told, “honey you just had major surgery of course you will have pain”. So I just thought I was being a wimp. I stayed overnight, complaining all night of this pain. Called him multiple times over the next 9 days, went in on the 9th day and was told “I sure wish my ultrasound tech was here to do an ultrasound but you just don’t look like you’re in enough pain for what I think may be the issue. I think you just had kidney issues prior and this stirred that up”. Meanwhile I told him I was living on percocets. Well, no, I did not have kidney issues. So the following Monday I return. And get that ultrasound that he could have sent me to the hospital for a few days earlier. This was day 12. Ultrasound tech left the room immediately and Dr Goolsby came in. Said I was immediately going for a CT. I went, and after the CT I asked if they could remove the IV to which I was told, no honey, you’re going to surgery. Your kidney is five times the size it should be and we don’t know why. Security took me back to Dr Goolsby’s office to which I entered in to waiting room where he was waiting for me and he walked me up to urology. Then I was told to go straight to the OR that the urologist would be there in 30 minutes. Short version in this long story. The urologist came out after an hours long surgery and told my husband not only had my ureter been stitch closed for 12 days but my bladder had also been stitched into and now had a hole that was trying to heal itself to my abdominal wall at this point. He was able to get a stent in, but I had a catheter for six months while I waited on the following surgeries and then the healing of my bladder all because he wasn’t professional enough to do the basics of running blue dye through my ureters to make sure they were not blocked which I have since been told is standard procedure. This was 4/8/15 the day of the original surgery. The day my life changed forever. Years of not even getting an I’m sorry and I am left with a lifetime of pain and issues relating to those 12 days that were waited despite me complaining the second I woke up. Mistakes can absolutely happen but you should listen to your patient. 12 days I suffered while my body declined. Because he was tired and needed an extra large cup of coffee. I have since heard multiple other stories from women regarding him. Be aware that not all doctors are good despite the personality they may have while you are speaking to them. I thought I could trust him, I was wrong. And because I trusted him those 12 days when my body was telling me otherwise I am paying for it for a lifetime. There are so many other things I could add in with the multiple surgeries that happened because of his lack of care, but this is enough to get the point made. Beware, and I hope anyone reading this has not suffered the same."

"I would give a million stars if I could. All of the doctors here are amazing. Dr. Stone delivered all 3 of my kids and my first when I was just 19 years old. The nurses are great, and the staff is amazing. I cannot say one bad thing about this office or the people working in it. Dr. Stone takes the time to know you, your medical history, and he’s just a great doctor. I could rave about everyone in this office and everyone on the c section floor of the women & children’s center they deliver at. So thankful I had the experience I did:)"
