"I am deeply disappointed in the amount of time I had to wait after being checked in. I arrived at the ER about 10:40 AM, handed in the paperwork at about 10:45, was about 11:15. I sat in the waiting room for about 2 hours before getting my blood drawn, and then sat for another 5 hours before someone came out to talk to me about my swollen face and painful teeth, she said she'd check with someone to see if they would put me in small treatment room. About 15 minutes later she returned and took me to a room after a brief visit to the bathroom. Mind you, I had previously been sitting in a wheelchair all this time with NO ONE coming to see if I might have to go to the bathroom, although there was staff going in and out of the office doors constantly. They disappeared so fast I never had time to ask for their help. Once I got into the room I had to wait almost a half an hour to talk to the nurse and another 15 minutes to briefly (I'd estimate 5 or 6 minutes) talk to the PA, he looked in my mouth for a second, told me he was writing out a prescription and if I had any problems I should return. HOWEVER, I wasn't the only one having to wait so long, there were at least 4 other people waiting too. One guy said he waited 2 hours in an ambulance before getting a room only to be kicked out to the waiting room to wait for another room. Another couple had been waiting to get test results back they had arrived at 9:30 AM, they finally got their results about 7 and he was able to go home. The person I felt the sorriest for was a woman that came in after me, she arrived about 11:15. She was throwing up almost constantly into a container. She was still sitting there throwing up. Here's a picture of me how I normally look and one of me sitting in the waiting room. One thing that bothered me while sitting in the waiting room was the fact that the man I saw and another man were looking out of one of the offices and laughing hysterically. I felt like they were laughing at me. I almost forgot to mention that several people left after waiting 3 to 4 hours. The staff was very nice and friendly even joking around in a polite manner inorder to put me at ease for which I liked. This was my 2nd visit in the past 3 months. I wish they would have taken an X-ray or two so they could see exactly where the two spots of infection in my mouth are. Thank you for reading this and I'm sorry I got so long winded."

"It took 7 hours to do a stress test. I was the second person to arrive and the next to the last to leave. WHY? I was only supposed to wait 1 hour after the test to get scanned again. It was over 2 hours before they started the 2nd scan. I hope that didn’t mess anything up. How many breaks to the technicians get? I did notice they had patients from inside of the hospital breaking line, which wasn’t right. An appointment should be kept."

"I had to have some test ran in the late afternoon. I just love the MRI TECH, he’s wonderful. Always kind, considerate, making sure his patient is comfortable. I really appreciate him. Thank you for caring."

"I took a friend for multiple tests on the same day. The staff was excellent from housekeeping to check-in personnel to the technicians. They were all friendly and bent over backwards to make sure he was taken care of. Even though an ice storm had made many to have to spend the night at the hospital and many had extreme difficulty getting to the hospital they were all so kind and cheerful. They even addressed my comfort even though I wasn’t the patient. I didn’t encounter one person who didn’t ask if I needed anything. Such professionalism and kindness is rare."
