I will no longer be doing business with Texas Children’s Health Plan. They do not care about your health nor do they care about following and keeping their policies."

"Been on hold for an hour and still can't get anyone on the line. 08/25/2023 at 3:32pm I called through the patient portal provider portal through all kinds of portals and can get anyone on the line to change PCPs this is ridiculous. How are doctors suppose to their patients and how are patients suppose to see their doctors? This plan is no good if your wanting to switch to this company plan."

"I switch my baby from Amerigroup becuase Texas Children hospital was not accepting Amerigroup. I have had the worst ever experience with Texas Children Transportation provider Vito’s drivers. I book 48hours and they sent me a confirmation for November 15th appointment. On the appointment day driver calls to say sorry I can’t be there for you I have other patients I have to attend to. I had to struggle at the last minute to find my way to the clinic with my baby. The only time they sent a driver to me the car had no A/C my kids were almost roasted, we had to role down the glasses , very dirty inside, driver was on phone on the highway . I was scared with my kids. Above all very rude driver who came 40minute late . I had to call the clinic and beg for more time. Thier drivers don’t keep to time,their vehicles are very dirty and I am sure they are not checked. It’s my ever worst experience with a medical service provider. I look forward to switching my child out of their plan .I don’t have peace of mind."

"Normally, I would give Texas Children's Insurance a good review. Usually in the past I haven't had any problems but now I have been calling for 2 weeks to get answers as to why my daughter's physical therapy hasn't been approved. I've called daily for over a week now and I can verbatim recite the words I get from the member care specialist. "That department has an unusually high volume of calls right now, I can leave a message for them to return your call and mark it as urgent so it will get a high priority." Well even after leaving messages daily I still have not gotten a call back and her therapy hasn't been approved. She is going on 3 weeks of needing to be in therapy and we have followed everything asked of us but still no approval or start date or even an explanation of why they haven't gotten an answer. Even the physical therapy office is calling twice a day for answers. This is just ridiculous."
