"My husband and I drove all the way out here on a Sunday in hopes that we could tour the home. Online, it saids that they are open but they are not. Gate was locked and their sign had Sundays marked off. They need to update their hours online so others do not waste a trip all the way out here."

The grounds and home are undergoing renovations to give you a feel for the 19th Century. History is being exposed for both master and slave! This is a worthwhile short trip out of modern Decatur."
