"I was a client of Shuttleworth before they sold. When my recent insurance bill came due, I was sent a letter thanking me for being an automatic payment and showing the payment dates. Unfortunately, my credit card had expired and my insurance was canceled while I was on vacation. When I asked why the agent had notified me they responded they couldn't be bothered."
"This agency only does exactly what your words are. The response to my issue: we can't assume what your needs are. Right, but can you ask some questions? For example, i removed my daughter from the car policy. However, I did not tell them to remove her car so it was left on. We have 1 vehicle per person. My daughter is the primary on that vehicle. Can't assume, but an opportunity to show you care and ask a question. Sold our house and, due to timing of our movers, we had to extend our homeowners 1 day. So, the agency then added the buyers of our home as DRIVERS on our auto policy. To their credit they sent an email. Claimed they called but this is a number I would call back... If you are an insurance expert and don't need an agent's help, Ellinger will be fine. If you need them to watch out for your best interest, they haven't proved care enough."
