"Phoned an hour before closing on Thanksgiving Eve to learn that they would fit me into their schedule. My barber, Catherine, and I determined what cut I would like from some stock pictures on poster boards as I was ignorant of the various cut styles. I wasn't expecting much effort out of Catherine as I realized she had to have been tired since they had been busy since 8 AM with the holiday rush. She took her time and did a great job ensuring that I was happy with the cut. A couple of times she asked to use thinning shears on certain areas so that my hair would lay flatter. The owner was welcoming, inclusive and enthusiastic with all patrons . At one point toward the end of my cut he led us all in singing Stevie Wonder's "I just called to say I love you" ... How could anyone who lived through the 80s resist joining in ? Will return to be a part of the choir and get another excellent cut! Goodbye Great Clips! Thanks Catherine and Magnificent Cutz!"
