Reviews
"Miss welcome center had a positively huge parking area, and the building itself was truly nice. There was even a sitting area where you could enjoy coffee and look out over the water. There were plenty of helpful people, and lots of material to take about various locations and activities. The bathrooms we're cleaning spacious. The people who were handing out the literature definitely knew what they were talking about and actually ask questions to see what things you might be interested in. This was a great stop over. I believe RVs are allowed to stay overnight as well..."
"Huge. Very clean. security at the center. Very well decorated. Home Sweet Alabama. Nice welcome center"
"Antonio definitely made a positive impression. He gave me the history regarding the creator of the brick sculpture design of the welcome center. He further gave the details behind the concept design of the Alabama welcome center. It was enlightening to see the exterior/interior transform into the ocean, waves, and sea life. "Sweet Home Alabama", thank you for making me feel invited and welcomed to your state."
"This place is quite big, plenty of parking for all types of vehicles. It is very clean and well kept. The tourist information/welcome centre and shop were closed as it was after 5pm but toilets are accessible. They have a designated place to walk your dog and stretch the legs after a long car ride and places to have a picnic in the shade, with seating. There's also some interesting signs, statues and monuments. A good place to stop and take a break. Toilets were clean and tidy with the facilities you would expect. There is drinking water fountains too. Well done Alabama!!"
