"Very competent! They take their time to evaluate all problems. Friendly and caring."
"I do not know why a few people are listing negative visit experiences. I go to the office in Cahaba Heights, Dr Lippard for 5 years and both the staff and doctors are great. Maybe they are talking about an office in another city."
"Poor customer service. My primary doctor moved from this office to another company; understandable. A letter was sent notifying me that the doctor was changing offices, but no other follow up. I had 2 appointments set up with this office: one for routine a blood draw with a technician, not the doctor, and another with a follow up visit with the doctor that moved. The office never called to reschedule the appointments or allow me the option to cancel. After using sick leave to take the morning off from work, I arrived for my scheduled appointment for the blood draw with an office technician (not the doctor), but was turned away. After discussing the issue with the clerk, and asking for an accommodation to reschedule the blood work or be squeezed in that morning, I was told to make another appointment and the soonest availability was a month away. I was told the doctor had to order the blood work (which was done). It doesn’t make sense that the order has to be from a current doctor, doctors send patients for diagnostic work at other facilities all the time. If a client changes doctors and wants to go elsewhere, we are expected to call and cancel an appointment, or risk being charged anyways for a no show. The double standard that a doctors office shouldn’t have to call the patient and discuss canceling or changing an appointment is unfair. I planned to change doctor and remain at this office as part of my visit today. After the way this was handled, I’ll take my business elsewhere."
"Dr.Clifford and the CRNP are fantastic and very caring. They spend a lot of time with you. Their solid medical knowledge is hard to beat. It is always easy to schedule an appointment and never a long wait in the lobby."
"A few weeks ago, in need of a primary care provider in my area, I got on the web site for “Brookwood Primary Care-The Narrows” and registered as a new patient. I requested a contact (phone or e-mail) to schedule a first appointment. I never heard back from them. One week ago I tried a different tack: This time I printed out the forms from their site for new patient registration and patient history, filled them out and sent them to their physical address on Old 280 by regular mail along with scans of my driver license and insurance card and a cover letter requesting that they contact me ASAP to schedule an appointment. I included my telephone number, my e-mail address and my physical address. That letter would have reached them in one or two days—five or six days ago (their clinic is less than a mile from the Post Office where I mailed it!). Once again, nary a word of response from them. So…how are the docs and staff and service you ask? I would have loved to find out! As irritated as I am about the recalcitrance of these people, it’s nothing compared to my utter, jaw-dropping astonishment! How could any business so deaf and blind to potential clients survive? I sent my SSN to these drones for god’s sake! (It was required on their form.) Is anybody home? The most charitable assessment I can make is that they are so swamped with new patient applications that they can’t keep up. So, if that is what you’re after, take my advice, go someplace else! Final edit: It's now been 10 days; they're never going to contact me. Bye guys!"
