"Never answer the phone and when they do they put you on hold FOREVER or ask if they can call you back and they DONT !!"
"This is by far the most unprofessional insurance broker my company has ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I've been with my insurance company for 16 years now and used A-1 as my broker the whole time. We never had a claim the entire time nor had any issues with my insurance company itself. However, the owner at this location is beyond mental. They were fine for the last 16 years as we never had a reason to call them. Unfortunately, do to an underwriting issue are business license and insurance would expire on the same day. It would then take the better part of a week to get back in good standing with the state. This year we tried to correct that issue ahead of time. We called in before our insurance renew date and tried to get the date changed. This was a mistake to say the least I can only say I feel sorry for anyone who is forced to deal with the guy who is running this location. He is the co-owner so Im assuming he will never get fired. Witch might explain why he forces you to talk to him if you need anything done on your account. He will not let you speak with anyone else in the building. He says no one else works there and he's the only one who can do anything for you? Unfortunately he can't help you because he wont let you finish a sentence. After he screws everything up because he didn't listen to the actual problem, he then hangs the phone up on you for trying to explain to him that you still have a problem. You really have to step back and think after getting hung up on. Was I just talking to a kid? I actually thought it was a mistake. I called back trying to figure out what happened and he answers like a totally different person. He then says he doesn't have to listen to people cussing at him. I'm no saint, but I haven't cussed in many years. "This is the mental part", he then hangs the phone up on me again when I ask him who cussed at him? I can not pay my employees enough to deal with him any longer. One even threatened to quit if she had to call him one more time. This has forced my hand to switch agency's as I don't have time to deal with him either. It's amazing how one person can ruin an entire company. What a shame"
"They were so helpful and personable. Ken and Miss Vicki made us feel like we've known them forever. I was in a pretty tough situation and they took care of it no problem. If you want that one on one service and not just feel like a number like the large insurance companies make you feel. This is place for insurance."
"I bought a new car on Saturday. I decided to wait until Monday to keep my current car insurance policy. It canceled on the 10th of the month. I didnt pay it because I was waiting to get my new car. I blew the head gasket. So until I got a new car I let my policy cancel. I called A-1 10/16/23 @ 9am I paid my policy to get it active and add a new car to the policy Ken was do rude and I been a customer since 2011 or 2012 he was telling lies as soon as a called this morning because I couldn't take my new car home because my info was not updated and I paid everything yesterday by 9:45 am they dropped the ball and he tried to blame it on me for the cancelation but Vicki said in order to add your new car it would be an extra 50 I paid and she said it would be about an hour for the update it was over 24 hrs and my policy was active yesterday as soon as I paid the insurance company confirmed it and Vicki would not have been able to give me my info if I wasn't active Ken you are very unprofessional talking over and hanging up on paid customers because yall dropped the ball I can't wait to take my money elsewhere where of course I'm upset Ken you set the tone lying like all my duck weren't in a row it was a 10 min job taking over 24hrs you blaming the insurance company and they said they couldn't do anything until the agent sent over the paperwork A-1 stop making excuses when yall just don't have the staff I have never been treated like this I was just referring people to you guys not anymore Ken blew it poor customer service at its finest"
"I wish I could leave zero stars. I don't like the southside location I used to go to the carmel location but they are closed. I paid my money to add a new car to my policy and Vicki Talbott told me it should take 1 hr that was at 930am. At 1pm she emailed me saying i haven't got a chance to call to get it updated yet I haven't forgotten about you. I didn't see the email until I was at the car lot and I have an active policy but still had to leave my car because she hasn't gotten around to it yet bit yall got my money and I'm still waiting for you to update my file this is unbelievable"
