"Came here for the 2024 Chicago restaurant week menu. Really enjoyed the purple sweet potato fries, shrimp egg pasta, and ice cream cake. I also really enjoyed their beef over rice, but it tasted more like a Korean dish than Japanese, with their gochujang paste. The beef was extremely flavorful though."

"Hold up Burger lovers! Without a doubt, this burger is one of the best, if not THE best burger in Chicago! The bao bun is sweet and semi crispy and the burger itself is so good, you will thank me with every bite. RUN DON’T WALK #chicagoburger"

"Wonderful dinner at Izakaya, top two burger in Chicago for me, on top of having great all around dishes. The banana sorbet dessert was excellent, the shishito peppers were amazing, and I also enjoyed the jumbo wings!!"

"Our server Mariko was very informative with the food and helpful with food recommendations , the food runner really explained the food we ordered and even the busser had always time to refill our water and check us from time to time. I highly recommend their desserts! save some room! their mousse cake and banoffee are yummy!!! :)"
