"I went to the ER and Dr diagnosed me with strep throat and I was having difficulty breathing. No X-ray or anything else done. 2 days later I was at Jackson Hospital on the ventilator with pneumonia and diabetic keto acidosis. I felt like I was treated without respect or true concern. Like I was not believed about what I was complaining about. I used to love this hospital and felt cared for. Will never return."

"Aides were great. Doctor sent my husband home with nothing for pain after being in for 6 days with pneumonia, flu and strep. No breathing treatments, no inhaler. Just antibiotics and a stool softener? Negligent."

"Very poor service, I came in after hurting my foot the previous night, and was still in pain, couldn’t even put weight on my foot, after I got through triage I was told that there was no rooms available, which was a lie because when I finally got back to where the rooms are, every room was empty except for one. The nurse showed me to a bed behind a curtain and said “just wait for the doctor”, then went back to the corner where all the other nurses were sitting and having conversations, and they all had annoyed looks everytime the had to actually deal with patients, keep in mind this was only like 7:40-8:00pm so it wasn’t even late, so finally after sitting and waiting for an hour, the doctor walks up , looking like he just woke up from a nap, doesn’t even bother greeting me or telling me his name, he just had an angry look on his face, looked at my foot for half a second then only asked where it hurt , after I told him and pointed to where it hurt , he just says “ok I’ll go look at your x-rays” in a very annoyed tone, so like 30 minutes later without even bothering to stop and talk to me to tell me whats wrong with my foot , he just looks at me as he is walking by and goes “no broken bones” and just keeps walking off towards the nurses who are still sitting and talking to each other inattentive to the patients, which by now there are three other people in the room and beds arounds me , then the nurse without any explanation as to why my foot hurts so bad from the doctor, just gives me 50mg Motrin for the pain, wraps my foot and rushes me out the door, the only thing they told me was “no broken bones” and “it’s definitely bruised” , I even asked the nurse before rushing me out the doors since there were “no broken bones” was it just sprained, and the only thing she said was “well I know it’s.bruised, keep an ice pack on it” then said “there’s a referral to an ortho clinic if you keep having pain on your discharge paper, then gave me a prescription for Motrin, so after three hours they couldn’t even give me a real explanation of what’s wrong with my foot, and just pushed pain meds in my face, then proceeded to rush me out the door."

"I went to the emergency room last night about 10:30 because I fell off the bed and thought I had broke my arm I was in scrutiating. Pain 11 o'clock I got my X-ray Done. About five minutes later she came back she wanted a shoulder x ray . Got that done then she said. she's gonna take them to the doctor and let Him read them I was supposed to get a shot for pain ever receive it at 12 o'clock. This man sleep in his office somewhere. But the nurse's gone lie and says he's reading X-ray about 12:30. She called him he comes out Half a.. sleep. stretching yawning. Never said anything to me or gave me a shot. I left but medicare care and medicaid and humana And Tri care they will know about my experience It's time for him to retire"
