"My hair was destroy after Amanda bleached my hair again after trying to fix blotchy work she did about a week prior. While getting my hair fixed, she worked on two other people without an assistant. I was also charged 40 dollars to fix my blotchy hair. She left noticeable lines where highlights were placed and zero blending in the root area. Not only were the roots an issue but my hair broke off and I had to cut my hair. She opted to process all of my hair again vs fixing the blotchy patch. The photo attached is two weeks before she worked on my hair (dark roots) and the second is the blotchy work after the second bleaching. The photo with longer hair is how she left my hair the first round of bleaching. I had to spend 1000s trying to grow back my hair and fix her work (8+ hrs with a color correction stylist and nearly 500$). Pictures speak a thousand words so you be the judge. Are my roots acceptable? Lastly, I was seeing her for about a year and only once did I see another stylist, it was two sessions before the beaching issue where my hair fell out. Edit to add: all the details are accurate. Other details to note: I posted this a few months ago but decided to take it down since it was so emotionally deviating having my hair fall out months before my wedding, and the dismissive response to my original review. I felt now that I’ve let enough time pass, I’m ready to read another dismissive response to my issues with this salon (at least that’s how the response comes off). There’s no need to manipulate the truth, I asked for no refund and never returned as a guest. I’m just sharing what happened. Amanda offered no apologies when I physically returned with clumps of hair in my hands to show her the issues. What would make sense to me is just an apology and move on. Lastly, integrity is something I truly value which is why I joined the USAF at 17. How a business handles an issue shows the level of integrity with a business. Dismissing an honest review in my opinion shows lack of integrity."

"It’s my very first time coming to The Style Lounge on Saturday, and Tara was very friendly, knowledgeable, and talented at what she does. I might have put off getting my hair care for a bit, and she was able to work her magic and revive my hair. She also made great suggestions about the Olaplex treatment, which my hair needed. She is also very personable, and I enjoyed getting to know her and how she started doing hair etc. I’m looking forward to coming back. I’d recommend Tara to anyone in the area looking for a hairstylist. There’s also plenty of free parking in the back of the salon. I also love that they take Zelle, Venmo etc, which makes it so easy to settle the tab. They’re also on Vagaro, which made it super easy to book a time — the software can be a bit clunky. However I love that they honor the appointment time and Tara was ready for me."
