"I saw Dr S my whole life until the past few years recently I’ve been diagnosed with a disability bc of black mold exp. My insurance change so he couldn’t take it. I just called to try to talk to Dr. S. Tbh since he’s known me since I was a kid he sometimes treats me like I’m his own daughter when I’m there and that’s nice… I was forced to go to another dentist covered on my insurance last year and they did one filling and they got a crown started that still hasn’t been finished…. I called Dr. S this morning to try to speak to him and see if there was any possibility we could come up with a way that he can accept my insurance like my other doctor that doesn’t accept this type of insurance was able to…. Because I was chewing something soft last night and the tooth the dentist had filled last(not dr S cracked a part where the feeling was and it’s gone now including part of my tooth… so I tried to reach back to a dentist that took care of my mouth, my entire life because one other dentist touched my mouth and something horrible has happened twice now from that dentist both feelings that dentist did have cracked my teeth off… the employee is new has been there and the few years I haven’t. When I asked to speak to somebody who’s been there longer because I wanted to talk to Dr. S and she wouldn’t allow me to…. She told me it doesn’t matter though I’ll just tell me the same thing and they’re not going to help me. So I hung up, but I’m sad because I saw Dr. Schaeffer my entire life up until getting this disability and not being able to afford him and I’ve never been spoken like that by him or anybody in his office ever. So hopefully he reads this and he calls me. I was just a patient reaching back to the dentist that took care of my teeth, my entire life, because the one dentist, I switched to when my insurance switched is literally causing my teeth to fall out. Weaken teeth is part of my disability and the mold exp and I was just trying to see if I could get in front of this because it’s the second time it’s happened. Without going to another crack, dentist, or the IU school of dentistry instead. Now I’m just crying because of the employee just made a simple question and wanting to ask some questions and speak to somebody and charge feel impossible. I’m literally dying and I’m just trying to stay in front of it because I have no family left. So I’m a single female, just trying to survive and calling her dentist that she saw for decades before it causes a further health issue."
