"Cynthia, one of the front desk coordinators, was very sweet and conversational, and she explained my treatment plan/payment options/etc very clearly and concisely, so I left my appointment fully understanding the next steps. I look forward to seeing her when I drop in for my next appointment! The hygienist that saw me (unfortunately I can't remember her name) was very polite and knowledgeable, and had no trouble answering all my questions (I'm very curious about medical procedures because they fascinate me, so I was constantly asking her about what was going on, haha). She also made sure that I was comfortable while she was taking my x-rays, adjusting the mouthpiece when she saw it was digging into my gums awkwardly. Very considerate, overall. Dr. McGeehan was also lovely! She explained every step of what she was doing, and even altered her methods slightly when I had offhandedly mentioned how certain things would set off my gag reflex. Very understanding and compassionate, and not once did I feel like I was being judged for my less-than-stellar dental hygiene. She even gave me some tips on how to make the process less offensive to both my senses and the previously mentioned gag reflex. Overall, my experience was great, and my initial visit did wonders for setting aside my anxieties about the whole process. If you're someone who is nervous about going to the dentist for one reason or another, don't be afraid to look into this practice! They will treat you very well."
