AmeriPlex Family Dental Care: Keenan Cave, DMD

"Had a crown put on. Was told it would eventually need to be done so I went ahead with the procedure. A month later and still can’t chew food on that side of my mouth. To top it all off they did the procedure. Within a few days had a bill of over $600. When I went back to have the procedure completed I was told I had to pay the whole bill. When I protested they told me they wouldn’t finish the procedure without all the payment. I get paying a copay or part of the bill within 6-7 days but to ask someone to pay the entire expense within 6-7 days is ridiculous. Even if you go to a hospital or anywhere they give you a month or so to pay the bill. Not this place. They just want to point to a sign saying all outstanding bills need paid before. In this climate I wonder how many people can afford over $600 within a few days. So now I can’t even chew on my right side and I paid all that money for the privilege of only using 1 side of my mouth. I’ll have to go to another dentist and pay more to fix what honestly should have probably never been messed with. Horrible experience, if I could give them 0 stars I would"

"For multiple reasons, it was time for me to find a new dentist. After running through a few searches (and having seen the office off of Kentucky Ave) I decided to give AmeriPlex Family Dental a go. My first appointment was complicated - I had been bumped for my routine cleaning at my previous dentist and had a filling that was crumbling. I called Dr. Cave's office and they were able to seat me pretty quickly. My anxiety with dental work has always been a bit high but was amped up because I knew that the failed filling would require work. However, upon entering the doors to Dr. Cave's office, I was greeted by a genuinely warm and easy-going staff. Once in the chair, Dr. Cave and his team were absolutely fantastic. They thoroughly described everything they were doing as well as the "why" of each step. From the routine cleaning to a new crown prep/placement/bite adjustment, they have gone above and beyond. So much so that most of my prior anxiety has been quelled. Whether it be from their ability to interact/connect with the patient or from the mastery of their craft, they make a stressful situation comfortable. If you are local and searching for a new dentist, I feel as though one would be hard-pressed to find a better staff elsewhere."

"My dentist for many many years retired and Dr Cave took over the practice. Of course i was a bit hesitant with change but what I was quick to realize was that any hesitancy was not warranted! Dr Cave and the entire staff are the best!!! They are professional , courteous, and friendly and make you feel like family! I always leave that place with a smile on my face which is unusual when speaking about that dreaded dentist visit. I would highly recommend to anyone!!! And I do not recommend things often so that is saying something! Five stars isn’t enough!!"
