"We drove from Bloomington IN after tears since the pandemic where we have not been able to get into a dentist who either accepts our insurance, accepts new patients or who is accepting but taking chikdren. After paying out of pocket in town, we were finally recommended Healthnet by a family friend. We were astonished at the great care that Dr. Sarah Brusko provided our 6 year old son who had a painful cavity at this point and delayed fallout. The other people we worked with making appointments in Indianapolis were incredibly helpful. We felt understood and like the frontstaff and doctor really met us where we were and gave us incredibly thorough care and a comprehensive treatment plan to take care of our child. We feel truly blessed to have been taken care of with such consideration and unbelievably fast treatment. My son ended up having a wonderful day and feels so proud to have FINALLY gotten a visit from the tooth fairy!!!"
"Hearing from my mother how bad her experience today was from the staff in the clinic I decided to write this review. She took my brother who needed a physical exam for school. Arriving , yes she was late 10min and asked is she was still going to be seen or to reschedule they said yes. She waited in the waiting room almost 15min plus she was then taken by the nurse to a room to get seen waited another 30 min just for the nurse to walk in and say that the Dr wasn’t going to see this patient how unprofessional. Waited all that time to not get seen. Patient took the time off work and called out. My Mom has diabetes her blood pressure was very high arriving of how staff treated her today. I was very sad to hear this from her about this clinic we will be soon sign a medical release form to find a new clinic. I hope this doesn’t happen to someone’s loved one"
"I called to set my son up with a mental health appointment and they wanted him to see his normal dr. because he missed an appointment. Being a mom, I'm extremely upset because my child needs help and they are worried about him getting checked out by his normal doctor. I'm disappointed in them being a long term patient with them. And for them to treat this like its not important is completely unprofessional. They don't seem to care about their patients and I would never recommend them to anyone else, essentially anyone needing mental health for their selves or children. They will push you aside and not be concerned about making the patients mental health a priority."
"I needed to see a doctor. I was having mixes of positive and negative pregnancy test results. I called in, and the front desk person sent me to talk to a nurse whom I explained the situation too. She said they wouldn’t see me until I had consistent positive tests. Well 3 weeks later, I go to the ER to find out I’ve had a miscarriage. I called looking for answers and got turned down only to found out weeks later I lost the baby. I wouldn’t trust these nurses in the women’s clinic."
"My son had an external ear infection. I called at 7:55 and was given an appointment for 11:30 am. My son’s pain was an 8 out of 10. So we arrived and checked in at 10:45. Next my son and I got to watch 5 MAs talking about their weekend coming up and how one went to Tony’s but didn’t give him any birthday sex... with my 12 year old listening. (This was a 20 minute conversation.) We waited till 11:10 and were put in an exam room and vitals taken. 11:50 the doctors actually saw my son. 20 minutes after his appointment time, 40 minutes after being put in an exam room. She was in the room for a total of 5 minutes. In that five minutes, 2 different MAs interrupted the exam (trying to find the doctor the correct suture kit.) The doc prescribed some antibiotic ear drops and sent us on our way. I was surprised it was drops and not oral. Got to the pharmacy and was informed the drops were $70!!!! The pharmacist said they were already trying to contact the doctor to adjust to a cheaper version (and had been trying for over 15 minutes) I called People’s and talked to a “Jean” who said she was a nurse. She was completely unprofessional. I explained the situation, paused for her to respond and she said “are you done?” She also informed me the message was left for the doctor at 12:22pm. I asked if she could make the doctors aware since my son’s pain was at a 10. She said “the doctors is with other patients and I am not going to interrupt and make them wait.” I said “well my son’s visit was interrupted twice and we have already been waiting for almost 30 minutes since the pharmacist sent the message.” Jean could not care less. I ask to speak with the manager. I was informed Cindy would be in later today and she would have her all me. I seriously doubt I will get a call back. This place should be closed. It has always had horrible customer service. No follow through. No professionalism. The facility preys on low income patients that have no other option."
