"I had an absolute wonderful experience getting my nails done here for my wedding in Sept 2022. My whole bridal party had their nails done and everyone was so attentive and paid such attention to detail. So, when I moved back to Bloomington recently, I made an appointment for my mom and I to have dip manicures as an early Christmas gift. I called one week in advance and made an appointment for us. Showed up this morning for our appointment and we were told to sit and wait. Eventually one of the nail techs came over to ask to ask what we wanted and when we told her, we were told that they didn’t have time, even though I made an appointment for those specific services. So, my mom opted to get something different. They did a subpar job, rushed through it, didn’t do any cuticle work and her nails were uneven. By this point I had been waiting an hour with no service and 5 other customers (2 who didn't have appointments) were given service in that time. When my mom’s nails were done, I told them I was leaving and they asked if I could come back in 2 hours to have my nails done. Why accept appointments if you’re not going to honor them?"

"I have been to this spa twice before for gel nails and have been happy. This last time was traumatic. I don’t know how else to say it. I was treating myself and my daughter to our first dip nail experience. I was placed with a young man. He was very rough with the filing. As it became more painful, I let him know that it was hurting. He was very gruff and annoyed and wasn’t any more gentle. At the end, I had nicks all around my nail bed and even had a cut that was clearly bleeding. Honestly, I’m most concerned about the sanitary impact of being cut and then using common tools and powder. I was so shocked at being treated that roughly and rudely on what I had anticipated being a relaxing time that I quickly paid and left. After being in pain that evening, I went the next day to ask for a refund or a voucher for another experience once I healed, but all I was offered was taking off the polish. My daughter had a lovely experience with a young lady, but it is clear she is the exception and kindness is not guaranteed by those who run the business."
