"For years I have went here with my mother-in-law so she can pick up supplies/color for her Beauty shop clients. After leaving yesterday, I was very disappointed in the management of this business. As usual, we chatted with (not going to mention names so I will call her the sweet lady that works the register) if you’ve shopped there you know who I’m referring to. We got the supplies we needed and it was time to check out. The sweet lady was ringing up our supplies and told us since the items we had were on sale, she would need help with configuring the sale price. We were try to help with configuring how much each item were priced that included the sale. The sweet lady told us she would have to ask for help. A lady came from the back to hell (Whom I’m assuming was the manager) and was absolutely hateful and so rude to her employee, the sweet lady cashier. While the “manager” was assisting with ringing up our items, she was talking down to the sweet lady working the register, raising her voice at her telling her to “slow down,” questioning all the previous items she had rang up, and to make sure she had input the amount correctly. I was mortified and embarrassed for the sweet lady who was just trying to ask for help while ringing up our items that were on sale. The “manager” continued to talk to her employee (the sweet lady) in such a negative way while also telling my 18month old daughter to “be patient” when she said “Mama” a few times in a row to get my attention. I did not appreciate this “manager” trying to tell my young daughter how to behave when she should have been worried about helping the sweet lady ringing up our items. Especially because my daughter was clearly in her stroller sitting and waiting. I don’t appreciate this “manager” lashing out just because she was frustrated that she was asked to help her employee ring up sale items that were being purchased.... isn’t that her job as a manager?!? We spent over $170 and as we were paying THEN she decided to be friendly to us and try to make small talk. We still thanked her for her help and told the sweet lady that we appreciated her help and we would see her next time. We apologized it was such a headache because we had 18 items total. When my mother-in-law and I got out to the car, we realized we were overcharged and an item was rang up twice. I was still in the parking lot and walked back up. The door was locked. The manager proceeded to yell from the register that they were closed. I told her I couldn’t hear her through the door so she walked over to talk through the door and said she already closed out the register and I would have to come back tomorrow to get refunded for the overcharged item. I’m baffled at the lack of customer service we received from the manager while the sweet lady was excellent and more than helpful. As I walked back to my car, the sweet lady was in the parking lot and apologized for the mistake even when it wasn’t her fault. Mistakes happen but her manager should not have been so outraged about having to help her employee. Needless to say, I will be going back today to get my money back for the overcharge. Also, I will tell the sweet lady at the register that she did an amazing job, she’s a wonderful worker because it’s very obvious that her “manager” doesn’t appreciate her or treat her with respect. I think her manager needs to take some tips on how to provide customer service to those that shop at this business."
