"My full set with her and first few fills were great. They looked beautiful and held up very well. Then my lashes started to feel uncomfortable and coming out in clumps. One appointment she had brought me in over 15 minutes late, then still finished 10 minutes early and rushed because she had to leave due to a personal manner. This is something that bothers me when you’re basically paying $70 for an hour of time, and only get 35 minutes. She had gotten a phone call during this appt and starting rushing. While she was rushing, it felt like she was raking through my eyelashes, I could feel her tweezers dragging through my eyelashes. I already had noticed quite a few clumps of extensions glued together coming out, at this point I knew something was definitely wrong. I took pictures of the clumps for a few weeks that had come out, hoping she’d fix the issue and i wouldn’t have to say anything. It kept happening so I sent the pictures to to her. Her response (shortened) was “they’re probably just dirty. I can go through them next time”. I had eyelash extensions for over a year prior to starting over with her and never once had that issue with clumps coming out or them being dirty in such a manner. At this point I didn’t trust her, I went to another lash tech who actually had to remove them and start over, not due to being dirty but because they were glued together. She tried to remove most by hand (I wanted to keep my extensions so she was trying to take out the clumps and fill them in properly) but ended up using an eyelash extension remover. She saved some of clumps and showed them to me. she confirmed this was 100% from poor isolation. She even told me if my retention was that good and they were clumping like that, melissa may have been using hair glue instead of lash glue. The picture of my eye was after a fresh fill with melissa, a single clump of glued together extensions had fallen out and I was left with that huge gap. I understand the picture looks like I’m holding the eyelashes together, but they were actually glued together like that. The second picture you can see one of my natural eyelashes was glued sideways to the extension. There were more, but these were the few I chose to include. Edit: I added on to this review bc of the way Melissa reached out to me after I left it. Never once did I get an apology for the fact my eyelashes needed to be removed because of her poor work, but she instead questioned me on why I didn’t let her fix it, the timing i did things, and apologized that she didn’t explain lash shedding cycles to me...she tried telling me this was due to my natural lash shedding cycle, IT WAS NOT! The girl who removed them confirmed they were badly glued together. She started off her message very kindly about my review, but gave me inaccurate excuses for the conditions of my lashes and got rude with me!! Extremely unprofessional. For those that don’t know, poor isolation is what causes damage to your natural eyelashes! And it is extremely uncomfortable on your eye."

"Today was my first time at Elevated Beauty Bar. I got my lashes done- light volume extensions. They look so beautiful!! The quality of the lashes is great- they're soft and very comfortable and look wonderful. Melissa took her time- no rush at all, and made sure everything was placed perfectly..her passion for her career shows through in her demeanor and her work. I also got my brows tinted and shaped..a relatively quick service with a big impact. They look wonderful. I felt great the whole appointment. She made sure we went over everything, took the time to figure out exactly what I wanted, and educated me on aftercare as well. She was very professional and courteous the entire time. The salon itself was very clean and modern with a peaceful ambience- also in a nice location. She was very knowledgeable, and answered any and all questions I had. I will be recommending this establishment to family and friends. This is VERY well worth the money, and I have already booked my next appointment. Look no further if you want a relaxing experience with quality results!"
