"I was given a gift card to The Designer's Club and was excited to have a mom/daughter manicure. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. My daughter grew out her nails for a while in order to have long nails for her manicure. The nail tech asked my daughter if liked the length of her nails and she said "Yes!," yet the tech cut her nails very short. She was in tears! The "no chip" polish was also applied sloppily (see pictures) and up on her skin. Because of that, within an hour the "no chip" polish started coming off. I called and talked the manager, and she had us come back to get it redone (the same day). My daughter chose a different color of no chip polish. She wanted something more subtle than the original white, so that her short nails wouldn't be as noticable. My daughter loved the new color!! But, once again the polish didn't last. By the evening it was once again coming off. It caught on her clothes. Very frustrating. I also got a manicure today, and it seems to be holding up okay. However, there is a slight gap on the tops of a few nails, so to me it looks like they are already growing out. The green color is also uneven. In the daylight, it is very noticable. On a positive note, all of the staff was friendly and polite--even when we came back. Update: two days later my nails have started coming off as well. See photo below. I washed my hands after cutting onions, and noticed it was starting to peel."

"I was visiting from out of town & chose this salon based on good reviews. While the salon was beautiful and clean and the staff friendly, you can see from the pictures why I am EXTREMELY disappointed with my “professional” manicure. What frustrates me even more is that I reached out to the salon privately to address the situation and received no reply. $40 + tip down the drain. Putting out more money to go to another salon so my nails look professional for an upcoming conference."
