"I would give five stars but for about the past two years it has been very hard getting an appointment. Service and people have always been pleasant. I don’t understand how they are always booked but when I go there’s always students working on a doll or another student but not a client. I just go for either a trim, scalp treatment or a flat iron service. Also a few weeks ago I called and they told me Mondays they take walk ins not appointments and that’s not case when I got there they said no they don’t service clients on Mondays. I wish it was noted on there website what days and times they service clients and they had an online appointment tool on there website. Like how in advance to I have to call to get an appointment?"

"This establishment is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. Both from a client and student aspect. As a client I literally only received respect and acknowledgment from one student who worked on me who was amazing and truly concerned about the health of my hair. The space is cluttered and messy and students and teachers alike seemed to have no regard for actual education and connection to the client. The student working on my hair bless her soul was obviously purposefully ignored by multiple teachers with even me having to call them over a few times. Most refused to help or when they did they gave such obvious attitude. Teachers are not present for consultations nor when presented with inspiration vs the student’s plan do they intervene. I am fully aware that I signed up for a student to do my hair however it is to be expected that teachers are present to prevent and correct any and all mistakes. We were told teachers and fellow students couldn’t help with foil work while in the same breath they helped another student with foil work. While I can empathize with the student what I cannot understand is how she smartly started my bleach with 10-20 level and not only do they charge for every HALF bowl, they also upped her developer without telling her , applied in completely different methods than she did, only consulted me about pricing, and would not let her wash the bleach out of my head until hours later. yes HOURS plural. So now obviously I am loosing large chunks of hair every day. And when I try to call both corporate and the salon itself they give me the run around while receptionists tell me that they already know who I am and what I’m calling about?!? But can’t connect me with a manager for two days now. Apparently managers have all the time to gossip about my situation. Do NOT go here. It’s not just the students to keep an eye on (except Lexy she was amazing and truly tried her hardest to keep my hair safe), its the management and “teachers” as well."

"Jo jo is an excellent student. She listened to my concerns regarding my hair. She's detailed and through, and professional. I enjoyed my hair service with her. Including washing my hair, trimming, and the overall experience was great. I will definitely be back for another service with her."

"Three stars just because my stylist and the surrounding students were pleasant. Where do I start? The receptionist who rolled his eyes and said “it’s not 930 yet.” When I checked in. (Their clock is 5-6 minutes behind) or the instructor who shouted over the intercom for students to move out of the guest parking or go home. NO ONE properly wears their mask. The place is filthy, walls covered with hair product, the floors sticky and every corner is caked with gunk. Furniture is way outdated. Mind you the only reason I go here is so my spouse gets practice and experience. Other than that, if I knew what this place actually looked like I’d never go. Unprofessional staff, constant screaming back and forth. You can feel the tension in the air."
