"I ordered the Buttermilk Yogurt and a lot of restaurants might phone it in on a simple dish like this but NOT Roux - it was so well balanced and delicious with all of the toppings complementing each other so well. The cinnamon roll was the best I've had in a long time - the cream cheese icing was just right, not too sweet, and the roll itself was tender and fluffy. I ordered the biscuit sandwich to go for my husband who reheated it when I got home and it was still one of the best breakfast sandwiches either of us have had in long while. We'll definitely be back for more!"
"I have been here a handful of times and I wish they sold their sausage gravy in a jar. Something about it is just so tasty. Definitely get the biscuits and gravy, and may as well add an egg for $2. The dishes are expensive for what you get. The sausage and gravy dish only has one biscuit, which I would consider a side dish, not a main. The beignets are to die for. I've had their loaded grits, which are also very good. I just wish you got more bang for your buck here and I would come here more often - it's only a place where I treat myself."
"So being born and raised in Louisiana I was excited to try it out. I ordered quite a bit of food to go. I ordered the Beignets which were good, but a bit denser than a normal Beignet and kinda tasted like a roll. I also got the biscuit which was good and flaky. The shrimp and grits were good but I wasnt a fan of the sauce they had on top.The potatoes lacked salt. As for the chicken and waffles... The chicken was great, but my waffle was barely there. I'll post a pic below"
"I had a great experience here. The music created a great ambiance and vibe. I ordered the catfish and the portion was very generous. The catfish was delicious. I did substitute the slaw for sourdough toast which had some delicious jam. Be mindful that the online menu was different than the in store menu. I will definitely be coming back to work out of here one day since it is also a coffee shop."
"Well-designed, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The environment is cool, and the food, although tasty, leans towards the indulgent side rather than being healthy. The wait time and line can be a bit lengthy. The bathrooms are generally clean. Dessert options are limited but satisfying."
