"I’m absolutely disgusted!!!! I am here trying get help this lady walks in the door and sits down at this table and I have been sitting here for a minute, I am here checking on the status of my food application honestly not a clue what I’m doing but I have the paper i was mailed. I then ask her “can you help me” She responds “ no I sure can’t “ I said uhm ok? The security guard then states “she’s on break” I said ok she could have said that, that was rude. This is a building to help people in need ? Please hire better people in positions. So unnecessary and disgusting… some of us already have a hard time getting to this building go through enough to be treated like someone who doesn’t belong here or can’t ask for help when they have no idea what they are doing"
"I was moved by my representatives sincere willingness to empathize with my individual needs and did not hesitate to improve my living conditions above and beyond after assessing my situation. Thank you"
"The rudest most unprofessional women I have ever been in contact with. I dread having to come here, let alone call! There were two young ladies at the front desk. One was on the phone and barely picked her head up. "Take a number." Sad that something that would have taken 2 seconds took over 10 minutes. You are treated like a number at a "HUMAN" Resource Department. I hate that I had to give one star to give a review."
"One of the worst public assistance offices I’ve ever had to deal with. They never want to answer their phones or return calls when that’s literally the only option they give you. Then when they do answer the phone the people who work there are rude and very short with you. Then they want to hang up on you when you ask for other ways to resolve the issue you called about. What a joke. Get it together Tuscaloosa county."
"I went there on Tuesday to drop off an application for someone. The short haired dark skinned woman with glasses, whose face I will never forget, didn't even acknowledge me, but yelled out grab a ticket and have a seat. I was just wondering where to put the app. The security guard shook his head, I am sure he is used to hearing that. He directed to me to the proper spot. I really feel sorry for those who need help and get treated less than dirt. If I could have given no stars, I would have."
