"One of my favorite spots on the battlefield."
"Go you won’t regret it"
"Visit Shiloh Battlefield and the Hornets Nest on April 6 to see special events about the battle. It is very well done and a great variety of activities from the 1860's time period. Great family adventure."
"Prentiss’ men of the Sixth Division held out for hours against repeated Confederate attacks, buying General Grant time to organize his defenses"
"The Shiloh National Park has the most beautiful monuments, particularly for the South. I was so touched by the thought put into the symbolic statues. The bookstore at the park is fantastic on its own, and they sell a useful little book called "A History & Guide to the Monuments of Shiloh National Park" by Stacy W. Reaves. I highly recommend this book. Shiloh is my favorite Civil War park because of the monuments and the well-stocked bookstore."
