"I hadn't been to this location in a long time. The concession line was long it took about 40 minutes to get through the line and place our order. I'm not sure why the nacho cheese is now cold and hard instead of warm liquid??? We bought IMAX tickets and no one gave us glasses. There was tissue all over the floor in the restroom there wasn't any soap all 4 dispensers empty."
"WORST theater experience in a long time. I currently live in Atlanta and came home for the holidays. My wife and I left our baby with my mom for a night out to see The Color Purple Christmas night(tonight). Got tickets at Patton Creek in Hoover because this was a nice theater when I was living here. All I can say is what the heck happened? So many things to complain about. First off, we bought the ticket online. We walk into the theater and concessions and lobby is packed. This is not unusual as this is the only thing open on Christmas. Bought my tickets online and I was looking for someone to scan my ticket. I see no one. Ask the police officers if anyone is working up front and they say “ no, just go to your movie”. So basically there is no control and people can just walk in without buying a ticket. The lobby is so dark and it’s not well kept. Feels hot and a little musty. Walk into the theater and conditions are the same. Apparently this theater is in need of an overhaul because the seats are the same ones from when I was in high school. Most theaters I frequent now have reclining seats. I realize I may be a little spoiled but the facilities are so behind. I decide go out to get popcorn and before the movie starts. When I get out there the line hasn’t moved at all. People start to get out of line and that moves me a little further ahead. After standing there for about 20 minutes, my wife informs me the previews just started. The movie start time was 915 and the previews didn’t start until 930. I continue to wait and people are arguing up front with the cashier about popcorn. My wife then informs me people are arguing over seats because people are sitting wherever they want. Hmmmm….probably because some may not have bought tickets in the first place and there is no control. I get out of line because it still hasn’t moved much at all. Already disappointed I try my best to stay at least 20 minutes into the movie. I just couldn’t enjoy it. It was a chaotic mess. You have people in the theater watching the football game on their phone while the movie is on. The theater can’t control the crowd but the facilities and lack of order was so disappointing. Again what happened? This used to be a nice theater."
"It’s a movie theater with a lot of cinema rooms incl an iMax cinema. It’s a little dark when you enter the building and the snack/food prices go thru the roof. There are not a lot of people visiting the cinema nowadays (sep23) so the room is pretty empty. The designated chair I had was broke. So the four of us moved one seat and that was OKish. Also that chair was not completely functionally. The movie screen and sound are good so to see a movie it’s ok!"
"A good theater! We did Barbenheimer and caught Oppenheimer 70mm here and Barbie last Saturday. Lots of great restaurants around to get dinner after a movie or before a movie! The concessions were tasty and I always love the flavored soda options at the drink dispensers. As always, concession prices are wild with $8 for a large drink and I think around $15 for a large popcorn. The seats were pretty comfy though and lots of parking. My biggest complaint is that they didn’t have any cardboard photo backdrops for you to take pictures with for Barbie! Even the marque signs out front showing all of the movie covers wasn’t well lit from behind at all and there were no movie covers lining the building like usual. It really detracted from our experience since we dressed up for Barbie and everything. It’s something they should consider in this internet/social media age! I knocked a star off for the lack of Barbie backdrop, concession pricing, and the fact that the one time I went to the bathrooms they were pretty trashed. I also noticed that a few tiles were missing from the ceiling during our Barbie showing, it just felt unkept and uncared for."
"Great place to catch a flick. Decent prices and lots of room. My daughter and I love to grab a bucket of popcorn and have our time together."
