"First time coming here and some creepy older white guy wants to follow me around, really uncomfortable experience but ended up bringing it up to management, just because someone does not have a car to store their bag does not deem them suspicious"
"Prices at Goodwill seem to cater exclusively to the posh crowd. Even if an item is a well-known brand, you're expected to shell out $9.99, even for a battered version. Say goodbye to fitting rooms and any hope of weekly tag discounts. Goodwill is losing its charm – why bother when you can snag brand-new products at Marshalls, Poshmark, or Shein for a fraction of the cost? So, it's losing its charm, transforming from Goodwill to just another pricey option."
"Goodwill owners take all of the money made, they get free clothing which is donated and I’m in the store looking around, they want $15 for A Harley t-shirt, $17 for a carhartt hoodie? It’s goodwill???? These prices are disgusting, they don’t care about anyone in need they just want to make all the money possible, while having everything donated to them. Goodwill is a horrible organization & the prices are ridiculous. Won’t be coming here again nor will my family. Disgusting."
"Used to love thrifting here. Recently Prices have doubled (or tripled) for nearly every item. I also had a bad experience recently where I bought a few different sizes of things to take home and try (they don't have dressing rooms in store). I asked about the return policy before making the purchase and was told I could get a refund with the receipt within 14 days. Great! However, when returning the next day with the items that did not work, I was told I could only get in-store credit, and when I asked a question about that policy, the employee threatened to just cancel the transaction. I simply asked what the policy was, and the employee froze and glared at me, "should I just cancel the transaction then?" I decided taking the credit was worth it, since the items don't fit, but I honestly won't be back."
"I usually find great things here while just browsing. Recently I found some pieces of furniture for my classroom, some artwork, and some beautiful porcelain plates for home."
