"In the weekends, please reserve in advance otherwise you have to wait long. We as a group have been to Mahraj restaurant for the first time. It was nice dining experience with warmth atmosphere. We ordered chicken biryani, masala and naan. The food is very delicious both veg and non-veg. They have on the menu other grill dishes and veg (ie paneer, etc) masalas. The staff doing the service are helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended"

"This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Chicago - they absolutely nail EVERYTHING. The waiters are exceptional - they are attentive and friendly, and if you dine in I really recommend sitting in one of the seats that is a hammock. The atmosphere is great, and the food is very good. I recommend getting any of the Chef's recommendation (I usually get the Tandoori grill special and split it with someone) as they are really good value and their garlic naans are super fresh. Would come back!"

"Nice restaurant at Chicago downtown to have Indian cuisine. Atmosphere was great. Service was also get. They serve complimentary roasted papad which taste good with red and green chatni. Specially the red chatni was fantastic. We ordered Amritsary fish fry, onion kulcha and chicken kadai. Fish fry was tasted really good. Other items were also tasty. Ambience and decor of the restaurant was really good. Will definitely visit again."
