"Classic diner atmosphere. Quiet and easy to have conversations. Servers were good and friendly. Food left a lot to be desired. We asked for fried eggs not sunny-side-up. There were several egg-shells in our potato. Food was not really seasoned very bland. Overall Best Bet is not a great bet. If you are looking for a specific type of environment this place is cool. But as a restaurant its not great."

"The pictured food was 14.19. After 20% tip it was 16.79. The cofee which is basic diner cofee was 3.79. I know things are getting more expensive but this place was rediculous. Someone's got a gambling problem and we are all paying for it. I left wishing I went to Waffle house. The service was very good. The food came extremely fast. Its prob not the owners fault. Prob the tax bracket this place is in. The rents high so the foods high. It is a cool atmosphere if your really really into poker or cards. They have great names for the menu items. Again this place biggest flaw are the prices. I don't think I'll be back. For what I paid I could have much higher quality at another broken egg Cafe for exactly the same price. This place biggest asset is the staff and atmosphere. Everyone was so atentive friendly and looked ya in the eye. Prob some retired desk jockeys daily. Not a blue collar place. If this place was In Lawrence and dropped its prices 20% it would be a huge contender to Arts skillet."

"We had heard good things about this place and wanted to try it as we all know breakfast just starts your day out right, so we thought. My wife and I were there early to avoid the rush the service was good and food was fast to arrive, which is a plus, but now the downside food was very bland, coffee was week and the OJ tasted watered down. We are very disappointed with our visit and will NOT be going back next time it will be the #6 from BK, far as it being called Best Bet gonna have to FOLD because this bet cost us $50 .........."

"Such a great vibe at this place! I got the blackened mahi mahi (it did have a touch of a kick) with Mac and cheese, and green beans. Husband had the honey dusted half bird fried chicken with crispy brussel sprouts and it was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also started with the biscuits (2) for a cause and they were well worth the $4.50 and we shared the banana pudding. Ashley was out server and she was awesome! Definitely will come back and try the chicken and waffle!"

"A no dilly-dally, get in-get out, good eats, diner-like for parties of no more than 4 as parties larger than this will be broken into several tables. Baskets of Unlimited buttered toast with complimentary donuthole-like bread... very delicious! Can't believe we didn't know about this place earlier; and they've been open for 12plus years?! I especially enjoyed the gravy over cheese biscuits! Service was very friendly."
